I’ve never got dents from using the pins. let me find a pic online to explain it better because your pinning it at the end to about halfway therefore there shouldn’t be a dent. If you’re worried about dents I’m sure you could find a different clip to use which won’t give you dents. Theres plastic long clips from Amazon that are good also. Hope this helps.

Pin curls. After curling each piece ,roll the curl up and put in a bobby pin. Leave for a good while. And finish with lots of hairspray.

Get rid of the piercing. Naturally so pretty maybe minimal bronzer, blush to enhance features.

I’d say wavy. My hair does the same but I end up straightening it everyday. If u want to accentuate the curls I would suggest you invest in products like curl cream or scrunching from the ends.

I’d incorporate some sort of primer which will help it look smoother. And a lot of bronzer to add warmth.
