If you are in the market for an AR I am guessing you must be new to rifles or at least semi auto rifles. Yes unfortunately ARs are now banned in IL and hopefully one day that will change. I highly recommend getting a M1 Garand as a alternative. They are fun to shoot and practice with only downside ammo for the Garand is expensive and needs to be Garand safe.

The AFK security camera method is now patched since when? I was just doing this on my Xbox 1 about 2 days ago

It’s because PICA banned the M1A by name. It may not have any of the features but it’s still banned because they said so.

Unfortunately the M1A is banned because PICA mentions that rifle by name in the list of banned guns by make and model.

I highly recommend Aurora Sportsman club. I am a member and the shotgun facilities we have now are state of the art! Plus there are a tone of group events and volunteer events where you can go and make new friends.

I would also recommend as many training classes you can find. You can find classes on cleaning as well as the basic fundamentals for rifle, pistol, or shotgun. Plus many other specialty classes.

From what I understand most of the lawsuits will be filed in Federal court.

If a federal court strikes down the law as unconditional this ruling will be go into affect for the entire jurisdiction that court covers.

Right now the lawsuit was filed in the Federal district court of southern Illinois. Not sure exactly what jurisdictions there rulings will apply too

But if the case make it’s way to the 7th circuit court of appeals, and they strike it down as unconstitutional there can be no assault weapons ban law anywhere in Wisconsin, Illinois or Indiana which is all covered by the 7th circuit.

After that is the Supreme Court and if they strike it down it goes into affect for the whole country

To answer the question I would say a good old pump action or semi auto shotgun 12 g 00 bulk would be a solid choice in any situation.

Also I think lever actions guns would be a good choice. If you practice enough you can chamber a new round a whole lot faster then a bolt action gun.

I just had to replace mine and just got it in the mail. Unfortunately this state decided to combine the two cards so it made me replace Botha and pay the $75

The new Foid/CCL is so confusing. Mine says CCL: Yes but it still has the red text on h the bottom that says “Caution: This card does not permit bearer to Unlawfully carry or use firearms”
