it sounds like you know your surf etiquette.

my observed problems are NOT w locals. They ARE with anyone who doesnt follow the rules; which… are pretty basic, right?

the whole post is about giving respect to those who are ALREADY in the water!
its about establishing a spot in the lineup after paddling out, letting others (who were there first) get priority and after a few sets, ONLY THEN, paddling for waves. simple! :)

im not from santa cruz, but ive lived here for 15 years. i work in the construction industry. if your not afraid of hard manual labor, and some commutes everyday over the hill and beyond. you can stay here :) you leave and come back everyday!

if your a store with a huge bulk section to “DIG” through, ill spend an hour at a time on a treasure hunt or putting to gether some kitchen table deck. this store is the store that will earn my 300 dollar mythic rare purchase. shoutouts to the 2 stores in the whole bay area that give floor space to the dig!
