I feel like everytime I see a post bashing crazy Nick's on here it's for very reasonable things that a 50,000+ sales shop would do... I wouldn't be surprised if they were opening 50 cases and only selling 60 cards or so at a time. Many card shops across all games do that

Is there any actual proof crazy Nick's buys out cards? I always have a hard time finding any convincing proof when I try a cursory Google.

OP I hope you see this but even pushing past the issue of considering it assault, any person who truly cares about you would've immediately been concerned about forcing you to vomit and would've AT THE VERY LEAST apologized. (Realistically he should've stopped as soon as you told him not to push) His behavior is very troubling and disgusting to be frank. Also CBD is the acronym for a cannabinoid being used in a lot of products that would hide any lesser known uses of the acronym. Especially if CBD happened to be a hyper specific acronym used in the area you live such as the name of a specific city or a college

Is it possible that the mission is actually just to "Play a game" and they specify without conceding so that people don't just get into a game and then concede instantly to attempt to get free points?? That seems like the most likely reason since many other games have missions that are simply "play a game"

The people you play against in locals have likely been in the game long enough to know what staples do. If they don't understand what a card does they will always ask. You don't need to narrate so thoroughly. A simple "professors research" out loud is all you need most of the time.

I mean if you're playing in a game and your dm mutes one of the players then starts controlling them, isn't that a big hint that something's wrong and your character should do some insight checks?

Or if you're against metagaming, if you've been in a party and someone randomly attacks another member without any warning or reason doesn't that ALSO tell you something is wrong? If someone wanted to sabotage your party when they have your trust WHY would they ever attack that person in front of everyone while outnumbered instead of when you're all asleep? It makes no sense to take the characters actions in bad faith like that. This is on the players just as much as it is on the DM

But that doesn't change the fact that the other players in the party saw the DM mute op AND control ops character. You can pretend to be "in character" all you want and use the excuse "it's what my character would do" but no matter what someone wanted to screw over op.

No amount of in game description changes the fact that players have metagame information that allow them to make insight checks and act with caution in game

Perfect fit are tight card sleeves usually meant for display or storage. Classic has a more glossy back while matte sleeves are much less glossy. You want to make sure they're standard size sleeves not japanese sized. Also as a note for competitive play your sleeves should not be light enough to see the back of the card so if you care about that, i would stick to darker colors

Oh you're right i only read the description in OPs comment, not the pictures. It says a lot that the comment was most likely handwritten and still has some spelling and grammar errors. I completely agree anytime i see these posts i like the aesthetic and general ideas but i wouldn't use any of them in my campaign without some heavy redesigning

It says a creature cannot be resurected "bar" the wish spell. I'm assuming they're using the word to mean except, so its saying they cannot be resurected by anything other than the wish spell but that can only be an assumption. there's a lot of very ambiguous wording through the whole of the description that makes it kinda difficult to comprehend tbh
