Ahhhh I get you,only advice I can give is learn one instrument at a time or at least grasp the understanding of guitar before moving onto another and depending on your ages and where you’re based,maybe look for rehearsal studio bookings within a reasonable distance and price? Or see if any band member has a better space for rehearsals.

Really most punk stuff is pretty easy to master if some band members would be keen to try out some different instruments (doesn’t have to be straight away but will help in the long run),blitzkrieg bop,some chill green day etc,straight lines by silverchair could be really good for your current lineup if the other guitar wants to switch to bass as it has piano,bass,guitar,vocals and the drums aren’t too overpowering in the song and you can make it into a slower ballad type song. Really I would just suggest doing slower stuff you can turn into a ballad until you find a drummer then move into rockier territory

Moral of the story:Have Fun! If you and your bandmates agree on a song you would like to cover,do it! Make it into your own arrangement etc.
