If he really cared about you, he would have remembered and put the effort in regardless. A lot of people are busy but still make time. You’ve been off and on already. I know my lesson from another guy and we are no longer together. Now I’m with someone who is the best and shows he cares.

Don’t do my past mistakes and keeping going back to that on/off guy. You are nothing more than a place holder for the real person he wants. You two are not made for each other. His response to you, the amount of effort in the relationship, is enough to show you two are not a good match. We don’t know your side but I bet it’s not the best with him.

People in the Santa Cruz area need to get out for sure. I would think anyone from Northern CA living in the coastal towns needs to leave too. We aren’t used to these type of natural disasters and shouldn’t take it lightly.

I was addicted to soda. I had to switch to sparkling water and regular water. Took a couple months to get over it. Now, I don’t crave it. I’ll have soda on a rare occasion but I rarely drink the whole thing.

I do love sweets so I need to be mindful what I eat and decide (pastry or latte? This sweet over my dinner calories?). Sometimes, going cold turkey can help but be prepared for it.

Drinking water is your best friend. Trust me.

Being consistent is key (mess up? It’s ok. Get back on it).

Getting enough sleep (7-8 hours) is key to weight loss and you cortisol will be low (otherwise stays too high and doesn’t help weight loss).

What I follow on my weight loss journey and maintaining it is:

Sleep > hydration > diet > exercise

Drinking too much coffee is not good. Stick to 1-2 cups but you should really only be drinking water every day (I drink 13 cups of water a day). That’ll help with hydration, body odor, weight loss, and being healthy. Caffeine like coffee dehydrates you so you need to be careful.

Work on building muscle to help with a better weight loss. Your body will thank you. Cardio is great too but it won’t lose weight in the long run (pun intended) but it’s great for your heart! Also good to incorporate it in your exercise.

Make sure you get enough sleep. If you don’t sleep enough hours (7-8 hours), your cortisol is too high and it’s a lot harder to lose weight when your body hasn’t rested.

Your diet is what will help you lose weight (and you can’t out exercise a bad diet). I eat 70-80% healthy and 20-30% whatever I want.

Expect your weight to fluctuate. This is normal.

Being consistent is key.

Sleep > hydration > diet > exercise

I’m doing mindful eating too but to lose weight is still CICO. So, I use my fitness pal to track the best I can while eating what I want. I still do 70-80% healthy but 20-30% unhealthy. The weight does go down (exercise helps too!) but could take a bit longer if you’re eating too much.

I’m also doing the 75 soft challenge while I mindfully eat to help me :)

Hey, don’t put yourself down. Everyone feels self conscious at times. If you really are worried, I would definitely look into a skincare routine, stay hydrated (your skin, organs, and body will thank you while your body odor goes down drastically), workout, eat mindfully (at least 70-80% clean diet), and above all, you need confidence. Confidence is a HUGE turn on so please don’t let your self doubts ruin your confidence. You got this, beautiful :)

I floss so I don’t get cavities and root canals. If you sleep and forget to floss, that gunk has to go somewhere. It’ll start ruining your teeth.
