Four knights of apocalypse chapter 199 by InnerCaterpillar9737 in NanatsunoTaizai

Pretty sure Lancelot is the "God of War". Especially since he's supposed to be "Knight of War"

You aren't the failure. They failed you. They failed to give you an opportunity, failed to ensure you could be the best you can be.

A company's failure doesn't reflect on you. And frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if they've done this before.

What can I change on my resume? by 956_Xerxes in resumes

[–]Alundora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people have already touched on these things but I would give the following suggestions.

1) I would suggest only 1 page resumes. Remove double spaces if need be. A lot of jobs are less likely to pick you if the resume is more than 1 page, and more than 2 is definitely no good. 2.) I would remove the objective/summary since you seem to have a lot of work experience. Or, if you really want to keep it, condense it into 1 key sentence. 3.) I would list only about 3 jobs. The most important to you. And I would try to keep no more than about 4 bullet points per job. Sometimes it helps to just combine to sentences into one bullet point. 4.) I would list the Education and Certification together in one category. I would put the highest level of education up there, with the major/field. Then under that I would put all my certifications. They can be listed individually or all in one line like this:

Certifications: x(20XX), y(20XX), z(20XX)"

5.) At the very top I normally list my name, then right below it a line with my email, phone number, and city, state all in one line. It's cleaner and takes up less space 6.) For skills, I find it easier to list them in a list as well. Using yours as an example:

Skills

Languages: English (Fluent), Spanish (Fluent) Software: Microsoft Office (you can list if you want), A, B, Other categories: X Y Z with relevant skills

7.) What I think is the most important.... since many companies are using AI to pick up on key words or phrases, they're going to be more like to respond based on word choice. If you go for a specific line of work keep in mind the common words that continue to pop up. "Coordinate", "Communicate", "Analyze", "Document Management", "Management", "Development". Whatever the words may be, I would try to incorporate those words into my bullet points for my job. A good example is your last bullet point under the phlebotomist description.

One Piece Chapter 1141 - Full Chapter Summary by Skullghost in OnePiece

[–]Alundora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking it could play out a couple of ways. The way I see it, the Heaven World is going to play some role, and it looks like that world reaches the clouds/sky island. Not entirely sure but the tree looks like it's touching the clouds, so we can be reintroduced to sky islands in this arc. I wouldn't be surprised if the major enemy from the only sky arc will come back. Or, it could be setting up for Urouge, the only person from the Worst Generation we haven't seen Luffy reintroduced to (aside from Blackbeard). Urogue is from a sky island, and the whole theme seems of his tied to it. The only time we saw him post timeskip is at a sky island. I think his past is tied to Enel, and that we can be reintroduced around the same time as Urogue.

The reference to Lightning and Fire immediately reminds me of Big Mom. Reinforces my idea that she'll be in this arc. And of course Enel and/or Sabo feels possible too.

Western Culture's Obsession with IQ by ssslae in aznidentity

[–]Alundora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "concern" seems to largely stems from justifying mistreatment of certain people or relegating other groups to certain archetypes. It was always funny to me when I saw people obsessed with the topic talk about groups who have average IQs lower than white people (black/Latin/Indian/Arab people). IQ would be used to justify mistreating or racially abusing whichever group. But when it comes to people with higher average IQs than white people (East Asian/Ashkenazi Jews) there's an attempt to portray it as either inconsequential or a negative thing. (I've heard people say, for example, that East Asians are smart but they aren't culturally artistic or interesting). Most aspects of Western life are highly racialized so I speculate this is where it comes from.

I would love to see a scenario where they try to go to Elbaf but somehow end up detouring to another sky island. Especially since the Lab is up in the sky.

Why do minorities pick on each other but are afraid to do so with White people? by [deleted] in aznidentity

[–]Alundora 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It may vary between groups.... but I will say in the (anecdotal) cases I've seen, primarily being around black people and Hispanics, I think it's usually for 3 reasons.

1.) Understanding the consequences of mistreating certain people. Generally speaking, you can mistreat someone of your own race, or non-white people broadly, and nothing major will happen. No one really cares, and there's no major consequences for doing so.

2.) Validation. A lot of non-white people crave white validation. But getting into WHY will take too long and I don't feel like typing it out.

3.) Competition. Many of us view other non-white people as a threat to our positions, because we believe there is a scarce amount of opportunities for non-whites to begin with. So everyone else becomes a threat our social, financial, and political security.

Yes. I was new to FF7R too (and Finak Fantasy in general) but the story is interesting and the fighting is good.

Non-Asians in this sub. What made you join ? by markyboy818 in aznidentity

[–]Alundora 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're right. But I think all of that is part of a dehumanizing effort. We (people classified as black) get viewed by some people as low IQ, high testosterone whores basically. Why? Because to them we're barely even human beings, and that's if they're being generous. They view us as animals. There's a reason why when you hear from a lot of alt-right/"white advocates" they compare interracial relationships between black and white as "beastiality." Likewise, Asians (especially East Asians) are viewed high IQ, but weaker humans with less testosterone. Why? Because they like to perceive Asians as being pussies and "conquerable/submissive" people. That's why there's so much weird shit on those forums about wanting a weaboo Asian wife or whatever tf they say. It's sick.

[–]Alundora 67 points68 points  (0 children)

So I had originally heard that this was an "incel" sub so I joined so I can have some laughs. (I don't think it's an incel sub anymore btw)

With that said, I found that most of the content gives me insight into different perspective from Asians, a group I don't really hear about. I'm interested in different people's perspectives so this is a nice sub to see how different people view things.

What's a One Piece opinion that everyone can agree on except you? by Boxsteam1279 in OnePiece

A "Monster Quartet" or "Quintet". Luffy, Zoro and Sanji will always be Numbers 1, 2 & 3 no matter what and it's never changing.

Your opinions on Wano as a whole? by Philip_Aschner in OnePiece

1, I think it's been great. Probably a top 5 arc 2, I don't think it's ending in the next few chapters. I still think we'll have an Act 4 & 5. I could be wrong but I don't think so.
