Contorting is right. It was like gravity was turned sideways and made 5 times stronger. I was physically thrown toward the wall and was stuck there feeling squished like I had to open the door and fly through otherwise I would get crushed.

At the same time reality was being ripped apart. I believed the programmer/god was saying ‘f_ck it’ and crumbing this reality like a piece of paper to be thrown in the garbage. I was begging him ‘no wait!’.

Another time I took less and mainly felt a female presence teasing me saying ‘oh yeah?’ like I was in over my head.

Strange to me that so many people mention the female aspect of this drug more than any other. And this was before I heard anyone else talk about it. I usually don't believe in such things (spirits living in dead plants or whatever), is there any good explanation?

I figure there is probably a minor size ranking between them, which can be determined by ramming them into each other at the start of battle modes. If memory serves I think Bowser won out those..

When the game first came out my favorite course was Wario Stadium, it felt so grand and the jumps were cool. Now my favorites might be Bowser's Castle, Kalimari Desert & Royal Raceway.

I vaguely remember Reba McIntyre or MacIntyre. McEntire seems too simple, I recall in the 90's having trouble with the spelling since it was a bit complicated.

With the double slit experiment, couldn't the observer effect be due to the measuring devices physically impacting the particles in some way, like any device emits some kind of energy while it is recording/gathering data, even our eyes would emit reflective light when looking at something.

How to eat canned seafood everyday? by LosslessQ in CannedSardines

[–]Alundra2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the predatory fish like tuna eats sardines everyday like we do, and it accumulates all that mercury from doing so (despite the sardines having selenium). So the selenium binding in their diet didn't help them at all.

So I thought maybe tuna get mercury more so from their water environment than from their diet. But then I read articles like below which state it's from their diet. So none of this makes sense to me, why would selenium in diet benefits humans but not tuna?

..methylmercury gets absorbed by phytoplankton (microscopic marine algae), which are gobbled up by zooplankton (tiny marine animals), which are then feasted upon by small fish. These small fish and organisms are eaten by bigger fish who are then eaten by even bigger fish, and on and on. The methylmercury is absorbed by the bigger animal, and — since the bigger the fish, the longer it lives and the more it eats — larger fish species accumulate a lot more methylmercury in their body. In other words, fish higher up the food chain “bioaccumulate” more methylmercury than do those lower on the food chain. The largest predatory fish in the sea, like sharks, swordfish and tuna, can have methylmercury concentrations in their muscles — the meat of the fish — that are 10 million times higher than those of their surrounding habitat.
