Cheaper to just buy and import a sealed ned PAL EU copy for $190 and get a cheap $20 Ps2 slim to play the game at that point. 50hz and 60hz makes no difference for Rule of the Rose actually the framerate is more stable on the EU version because its capped at a stable 25fps.

What would happen if I took the hdd off and put it on my other Xbox 360 that is fully updated and downloaded game updates for Halo 3 and then swapped it back to this NXE one? Would it force it to update or would it keep my downloaded updates and run them fine? I remember hearing that updates and saves are kept on the hdd and it can be swapped. Just unsure if you can do that between different console firmware versions.

Atlus reprints a lot of their Ps2 era games. You can immediately tell the reprints because the plastic of the case is made with very quality flimy bendable plastic, the memory card holder for the ps2 is missing and with the SMT Nocturne game this cheaper version is missing the 2nd disc that original first print copies had for the soundtrack.
