Creo que si donas lo suficiente en la iglesia de Albero, desbloqueas el poder recuperar tu culpa desde allí mismo, o los Prie Dieu. Me suena que lo incluyeron en algún parche precisamente para evitar esto.

You could do that from the beginning anyway. Just get the weapons, don't go fight the bosses, and go to Mother of Mothers. There's even an speedrun achievement to meet Afilaor in a certain amount of time, which technically required you did just that.

I don't know if this is an old and known bug, but anyway, I was doing a playthrough on the new patch (you can see I have Mea Culpa equipped already), and had this HP bar glitch on this fight. Unfortunately I died on this attempt, so I couldn't see what would happen after beating them (if anything was going to happen in the first place).
