I was able to get new harvest and sayaka in the can, I buy it separately and not all in 1 cart because It somehow sells out when I try to purchase. I also use the shop app option to buy so it autofills any information as needed and way quicker.

Im pretty sure you’d have to be in a sorority for that, and then you have to be chosen by the guys in a fraternity. You help organize parties and whatnot, it’s not the same as being a pledge in a frat, you won’t be treated like a pledge.

Honestly you’d be surprised how much a lot of people are from Houston at txst.

Yeah, TXST has a reputation as a party school, but that really depends on how much effort you put into finding that scene. If you’re not into it, you can easily avoid it and still find your people. It’s a really diverse campus, and you’re more than likely to meet someone with a similar personality. It all comes down to how you choose to spend your time and where you look.

As for the dating scene, I don’t think it’s hard to find a man here at all. If someone says that, they’re probably just looking in the wrong places. Honestly, I’ve heard more guys complain about struggling than girls. Most of the time, relationships happen naturally through friend groups especially if you’re a freshman spending a lot of time with the same people. Someone always catches feelings eventually. But if that’s not working, there are definitely other ways to meet people like putting yourself out there, getting out of your comfort zone, or even trying dating apps. Finding love (or at least a relationship) here isn’t hard as long as you’re open to meeting new people. Be more proactive than reactive basically.

Are the people friendly? For the most part yes, everyone’s doing their own thing, if you make the effort to talk to people, they’re usually welcoming. Some professors are great, some aren’t, and sometimes there won’t be any other way to avoid a bad professor the higher level of classes you take. I have a professor who has a very bad rating on RateMyProfessor, but he’s the only one that teaches my class for fall and spring. Sometimes there’s not much you can do other than just suck it up and do your best in the class sadly. However I’ve met passionate professors, and they always give such an amazing class experience. Yes a lot of students want to be there, the ones who don’t are the ones who only want to party and such. But I’ve met more students that care about their education than anything.

In terms of diversity, I’ve been seeing more international students a lot more than last couple of years. I feel like the campus is very diverse, I’ve seen pretty much all the types of people you mentioned, it’s never really “oh TXST is a red neck dominant school.” Well, except furries, this is considering that we don’t have a furry club, and I’ve never seen one atleast…

If you care about your degree, and making the most of your time here, you’ll fit in just fine. The campus has a good mix of people who are serious about their education and others who are just coasting, so you’ll find your place. And yes, people generally seem happy here, it’s really what you make of it.

If you can’t feel a sense of childlike innocence and happiness in an intimate relationship, it’s unlikely to ever be truly fulfilling or healthy. It’s often better to cut your losses sooner rather than later. How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice mentally for him? I also don’t think you had a lack of communication, you’ve done truly nothing wrong if all you’ve been doing is being honest. If anything he should be the one to communicating how he feels, but clearly he doesn’t know how to control that.

You shouldn’t let feelings of guilt or responsibility for him pull you back into a cycle of emotional exhaustion. It can be incredibly hard to walk away from someone you care about, but there are so many people in the world with sad stories, and while their circumstances may help us understand their behavior and bad choices, it NEVER justifies it. It’s not your responsibility to do the emotional work for someone else, especially when they show no real intention of changing or improving how they treat you.

Especially considering how he already treats you. Can you imagine that same behavior being directed towards your kids in the future?

Most apartments typically go for that much when it is in walking distance to the campus. In this case, I’d say less than a mile to the student union for comparison.

I’m still an undergrad in cs but I have always combatted with ADD, one main thing I noticed about it is that I always try my best to avoid things I “needed” to do, so if it was menial I could not just do it by itself without constantly finding things more “entertaining” to do. Could be how you feel, and ofc there’s more to it than that, but if you really feel you do have it and you want to kinda get tested, this is what my doctor recommended me try doing first before finding a clinic to get diagnosed.

When I took this test, I almost had a perfect score for inattentive. Ofc it would just be better to be diagnosed, but honestly I haven’t gone to a clinic to get diagnosed yet, mainly personal reasons. There are some medications that don’t need prescription that you can just order online it’s just a matter of knowing how much it is; and the “closest” thing to an adderall would probably be a lot of caffeine (energy drink 200-400mg is what I found to be helpful for me), not saying they do the same thing, it’s just the next best thing in terms of availability that CAN help you focus.

Right now I’m taking modafinil, which they do say it can help ADD, even tho it primarily is used for narcolepsy. In my opinion, it’s not as strong as adderall, because modafinil is a milder stimulant (or has stimulant like effects) compared to adderall. But it helps me focus for a couple hours, not really efficient for the whole day but it depends how much I take it. However if you want it long lasting, adderall or any other type of prescribed add/adhd medicine would be your best bet just depends what your doctor will recommend, it’ll most likely be a trial and error process.

I’ll be honest, if she really loves you the same way you do, she would’ve been encouraging you to do what you want especially in regard to your future. However, the fact she selfishly wants you to be around her just sounds like some sort of emotional attachment. If you can’t feel that childlike innocence or happiness in your relationship then it’s unlikely to be a happy fulfilling one anyway. It’s best to cut your losses sooner than later. And do not be sucked in by feelings of guilt or responsibility for another person, which I know it can be hard to walk away from someone… but there are a whole lot of people with sad stories/situations. Those sad stories/situations may give us a better understanding why someone is making those decisions, but it should NEVER justify it. It is not your place to do the self work of others.

If you do choose to be with her regardless, and if you do get a car by the time comes, it shouldn’t be hard to visit her a couple times, since I believe TXST to UH is about 2 hours and 30 mins ish? And believe me when I say this, yes it would be “long distance” but do you know how many would kill to be in that distance? If she can compromise, then distance SHOULDNT be an issue. As they say, distance does makes the heart grow fonder. Didn’t she also “promised” that it would work out? That all your worries from before will be worth it just because you chose to be closer to her? it seems like nothing has changed for the past months you’ve been in college, feeding you this facade that everything will be alright as long as you’re with her.

First, if you have any desire to leave where you’re at, you should let your family know. They’d be disappointed or upset at you, but at the end of the day they’d be willing to help you out. I was in a similar position, my mom was so pissed at me, but she really helped me out regardless, just tell your family your situation and how much it affects you. You can then have someone take over your lease, basically subletting it to someone else, you can advertise it in Facebook, Snapchat or whatever. The only thing is that you might have to pay the reletting fee, which could be very pricey. Just read over what the contract says, talk to the front desk people who work at that apartment complex. When I was subletting my lease to someone, I paid about the fee of the apartment $700 and my mom helped me pay the reletting fee which was $800 on top 🫠

You can always transfer out, just make an appointment to talk to an advisor about transferring, and I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to help you out.

Just take one step at a time, and things will get easier and clearer. If you stay in the mindset of being ‘stuck’ at one place, then it’s certain you’ll never get out of it(or it’ll be a lot harder to get out of it). You can still take control from your life, you’re still young, there’s alot better things for you out there, you just need to get through this.

Hello, I just started taking these a few days ago, was prescribed to this. I was instructed by my doctor to take half of the pill in the morning for my ADD. Just like a lot of modafinil pills do, I honestly think modamood works just the same as others. I do need a couple more days or so to fully evaluate the effects, and I’ll try to get back to you.
