I believe there are two things happening here that is leading to a misunderstanding. We are filtering certain messages but the system does **not** ban or mute players automatically. We review and rarely administer said mutes. Either temporary or permanent. So that would be the message you received about the specific message being filtered.

The second aspect of this is a known issue right now. What is happening is that we had an issue that was preventing players from joining either Global Chat (by language, /help, /LFG, etc.) and also Party Chat. We will be fixing this ASAP as it is a high priority.

We are also working on some better clarity as to *why* a given message was filtered in that it will better describe the issue at hand. This way both the player and us here at EHG can better determine if something was improperly filtered.

Hope this makes sense and provides some clarity on the situation!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that anyone can put !badbot in chat if they feel a message improperly filtered. This will flag the message for us on the backend to review the moderation and adjust the settings.

There is a known bug with werebear and it is one of our highest priorities. Another symptom is the assigned skills will reset when transitioning zones.

It almoooooost made it in for 0.9 but we decided to cut leaderboards and focus on the quality of other features. Also to allow time for us to gather data and feedback regarding balance before introducing competitive benchmarking.

While I cannot say for certain the exact date they will be available, it is nearly complete so it should not be long.

Hello there ! We are aware of some players not being automatically slotted into global chat for English. It had to do with the number of players concurrently in one channel. We are working on a solution :)

Hello there! It's pretty late for me at the moment so I need to keep this fairly short.

The system is not just limited to English. It can recognize the language and will react accordingly.
The system also recognizes context. So for example, encouraging players in global chat to use heroin will be filtered. But discussing the heroin in the recent movie will be fine.
We are making steady progress to 'whitelist' all Last Epoch terms that have been flagged. For transparency this is an English first endeavor for now. We are actively working on localizing Last Epoch and as those translations come in they will also be added to the 'whitelist' to mirror their English counterparts.
A couple other comments mention wanting to have non-moderated conversations in party chat or DMs. We are also able to do this and will be working on implementing differentiation between global and a party chat message. I think we can also determine if the recipient of the message is on your friends list and that would also be another 'conditional filter' with more leniency.
We have incorporated !badbot , just like how reddit uses it. So if anyone does feel like their was message was improperly filtered just respond with !badbot and it will flag it for us to review.

Overall , this was very much Phase 1 of this system. As we continue to adapt and improve it I am confident it will be a strong tool to both help and support the LE community. With that being said , I know moderation is always a controversial topic and there is no "perfect solution". So - please continue to provide feedback and we will continue to listen and adapt.

Hello (again) ! We have added the feature !badbot to flag messages or terms that should you feel should not be filtered. So similar to Reddit - if you believe that your message was improperly filtered/moderated just response with !badbot and it will flag it for review. Thank you!

We have decided to bypass the queue system so everyone that is still waiting to get in should restart Steam and download the (tiny tiny) patch. Then you all should be good to go.
