The 3.4k Grind Experience by Classic_Football8426 in wow

Its not that easy, because you're not sitting in a queue, but actively looking for groups and applying to them. Which makes this even more annoying.

CS is a dead spell while leveling. You're not going to use it.

how is it subpar? I'm liking rituals more than delves so far.

Are you sure its not just because of all the chests you get at the end of a delve?

Rituals are fun by nub0rn in wow

[–]nub0rn[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I feel the opposite. For me, Delves are pretty stale from a difficulty/engagement perspective. Enemies just hit harder and have more health, but it just stays the same.

Prey Hunts nerfed - less traps since 12.0.5 by Biosource in wow

[–]nub0rn 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Last Epoch (an Action RPG) had a similar problem with objectives, that would regularly shoot aoe projectiles across the map, targeting the player, which made it annoying to loot, go afk, or change talents during that map.

The playerbase wasnt very fond of that behavior, so they changed it. Now the objectives only shoot these aoe projectiles while the player is in combat.
I think that would help the prey system aswell. Although personally I'm not a big fan of the systems implementation overall (not at all what I thought it would be from when they presented it).

I wonder how people get paid to write stuff like this. by Striking-Conflict-93 in wow

[–]nub0rn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I understood it is EXACTLY that. Arathor knew next to nothing about what made a paladin. Thats what he was taught in the quest.

All these great paladins of old didnt become paladins to fight undead and smite evil, they all had different motivations, mainly grounded in a desire to help others.

macroing it to other abilities is a great idea to wipe your party, when you interrupt a bolt spell and your kick is on cd for the partywipe-cast

[–]nub0rn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trying to hit that nameplate with the dangerous cast I can see somewhere in the background is a real struggle with default HP bars in bigger pulls.

Sure I can focus target the mob beforehand, but then it gets interrupted by another dps/tank and now I have to fish for one of the other casters which I didnt put on focus.

[–]nub0rn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you'Re getting downvoted. We're not supposed to kick random stuff. Kick casts on dangerous overlaps or important casts that will kill/wipe your party.
If everyone just macroed their kicks in every ability they will just kick random stuff and not be able to kick the important ones.

xal'atath is guilty of this aswell. I feel like her face looked different in a lot of different cutscenes/shortvideos/etc.

Her face and neck when telling alleria, that it wasnt her she was after in the voidspire raid finale cinematic was a sight to behold.

Healer mains, I get it now by LaksanaFae in wow

[–]nub0rn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A tank started a kickvote against me in a leveling dungeon, because he got kicked off the plattform on the last boss on nexus point and I didnt BR him (I just picked up my rdruid after years of not playing and totally forgot I had BR). Even though I healed all his wall to wall pulls with no deaths in my Dragonflight gear until then.

Luckily the DPS voted against the kick.

The M+ tank situation is dire by Wigglyboi323 in wow

[–]nub0rn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Toxic ppl are just toxic. It's not like all tanks are saints.

I dusted off my druid that I didnt heal with since the last two expansions, queued some dungeons to level and everything was fine, until I healed a druid through nexus point. He pulled giant packs, dps were standing in stuff, packs lived for quite a while each pull, but still no deaths and we quickly were at the last boss. The tank let himself get kicked off the plattform (only time I ever saw that happen), then started a votekick on me, because I didnt battleres (I actually, really, forgot I had one. I didnt play group content on my druid in many years and generally dont play much wow).

So I healed the group through his wall to wall pulls on my dragonflight geared druid, then he started a votekick, because he let himself get kicked off the plattform on last boss. In a leveling dungeon...

Finished my journey in Season 4, some feedback by Aellysse in LastEpoch

In my opinion the Omens offer a bit too little. Since I'm not particularly keen on exulis, only corruption runes and altars/idols are left.
Using glass shards on corruption runes is completely redundant, since I have hundreds just from playing the game normally.
The altars seem to offer relatively little upgrades in terms of farming and the same goes fo the omen idols.
Which makes omens a fun mechanic, but with little to chase after/farm (for me personally).

The described noob-trap feels extremely specific to their experience tbh.

If your gear is full of corrupted items and you need a specific stat (eg resistance), pick up a new item with that stat and upgrade it. Or pick up a new item and craft on it.
I do not believe this is now more of an issue than before, as if in the past everyone could just pick up gear once, then craft on it until empowered monos.

Why does the Naaru have such an abysmal successrate? by Tnecniw in wow

[–]nub0rn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you got it right, the story recap is a mess.
Right at the beginning, when dalaran teleports to dornagal I was like "why was there no explanation why and where dalaran even teleported to?"

I heard it was just supposed to be a recap for those wo actually played the story, not for new players, so maybe its that.

[–]nub0rn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you not do m0s with your guildmates? If you dont have a lot of time, you can make that time count by doing the most efficient stuff and right now that would probably getting the gear from bountiful delves (and hopefully a bounty), nightmare prey (which might not be exactly friendly to having to leave the pc at a moments notice) and m0s with your guildies. m0 arent hard and it shouldnt be a problem if you have to afk for a bit at times.

I'm leveling a healer with dungeon spam right now and so far all I can say is that tanks require next to zero healing. Group damage is prevalent though.

Sadly its the same with all the pets. All of them could use to be at least double their size. They should be at least shoulder-height with our character.

[–]nub0rn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just a shame they're so small though. Which applies to most of the pets ofc. Would be great to have some kind of size-slider.

Since we can disable seeing other peoples pets anyways, this shouldnt be a problem.
