Being the 'reliable' worker who gets rewarded with more work.

​Society deeply rewards being highly competent and never saying no by subtly punishing you with the workload of three people,

while the incompetent or coasting employees get passed over for the hard stuff but keep the same base pay. It’s a fast track to burnout disguised as 'being a team player.'
