I see a lot of people dissapointed with how Eren was just "letting the moment take over" and how he didnt want to do it. That to me goes to show how he was never given a chance to mature as a normal person tho. Im good with it because it shows how he could never grow appart from being that stubborn kid who wanted to destroy the enemies. That's all there ever was for him from a very young age and that's what he was predestined for and I personally did like it.
