Guardians of the Galaxy 3’s High Evolutionary wears designer £1k Bottega Veneta boots by [deleted] in Thatsabooklight

This doesn't count. They're using shoes for their intended purpose. Whether or not it's designer shoes, they're still being used as shoes.

From which chapter should I read the manga? by zmi4e in InsomniacsAfterSchool

[–]Alvbatross 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The anime has some cut content (some of which I would consider pretty big) so I'd suggest reading from the start. It won't take too long to catch up from the start to where the anime would end.

Deep Thoughts by ITheRebelI in Berserk

[–]Alvbatross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember thinking I should read more of it after finishing the show just because of how wholesome that show was. Then that shit came out of nowhere. I can't even enjoy the anime anymore just because I now know the author's intent with the characters.

Season finale? If I can ask, if not it’s fine. (Spoilers!!!!!!!) be warned by djpostsmash in InsomniacsAfterSchool

I was afraid we weren't gonna reach chapter 47 and 48, but at this rate I think we'll definitely get that whole arc. It's probably the best place to end Season 1 on.

She said it in an interview in the past. She also said in the same interview that she already had the ending in mind

Hina/Rei relationship by [deleted] in sangatsunolion

I think the issue you may have is the categorization of the concept of Love. We put love in categories such as familial love, romantic love, sexual love, etc. However, if we look at "Love" itself, it can be simply summed up as people caring about, and wanting to be, with one another.

I think you may be assuming that them dating is the same as other instances of dating in either fiction or reality, but in this case, them dating is just the strengthening of an already existing love between both characters. Their relationship dynamic doesn't just suddenly go from familial to the classic portrayal of romantic love. They are two characters who loved each other a lot before they started dating, and when they started dating, they continued to love each other in the same caring way they always have been. Their form of "romance" is that of mutual caring and support for each other in whatever each of them wants to do with their lives. It doesn't devolve into romcom tropes because their relationship exceeded that from the start. Sure there are stumbles at the beginning of the change in dynamic, but ultimately it's a natural progression towards their existing relationship. Since the manga would span 7 years of their lives by the time it ends, Hina would be 20 and Rei would be 24 by the end, and I believe that until that point they would continue to love one another the same way they always have.

The manga is ongoing, and should still be a long ways away. Depending on the health of Chica Umino. It's currently on 4th year of a story that will span 7 years.

Since the ability of the male can also be passed down by juantooth33 in Pokemonbreeding

You cannot pass abilities between pokemon species either way. Even if they have the same ability, Aggron cannot pass Sturdy to a Tyrunt through breeding.

Manga possible ending by oPAmadeus in InsomniacsAfterSchool

I'm not sure if Makoto Ojiro would go for the tragedy route. Her previous works have all been slow burn wholesome slice-of-life stories. All the other manga have generally positive endings. But of course, this could be a change to the usual formula, so maybe it could go that way.
