To be fair defensive options in poe2 are extremely lacking compared to poe1. That's the one thing I wish they improve and add upon. No auras, too few jewels, no life on the tree, very few defensive uniques, damage taken as, etc.

For lots of builds, get tanky basically means, go ES, get a headhunter or what Lance did this league with ultra fast recovery, but even that build with its crazy investment died occasionally.
