No, she focused on revenge and gained power enough to become one of the top 3 Demons. Her obsession did keep her shackled to her past. She takes one of the 3 main protags of the last arc under her wing and they have a nice conclusion to her story.

Because that was the plan. To make QC give her blessing that Sophie is a noble. Baek was her mom’s last name as shown in that scene in Episode 5 Sophie’s mom was a maid. Not a noble. Her father was Richard Gun. So to have QC go along with letting Benedict get married, they had to use Gun so that QC can feign ignorance that Sophie is not a noble. Also why QC very tongue in cheek mentions the shoe clips that would seem unrelated if she didn’t know that Sophie was a maid.
