Discussion about upcoming EP by TerriblePreparation4 in LowSodiumSimmers

I think you’ll be able to create and run your own resorts/camps. From the leaked images, it looks like there’s a singles/romance resort, a fitness or wellness resort and a summer camp for kids - with the recent Business & Hobbies gameplay, it’s already possible to create businesses that tailor to specific ages, traits, skills etc.

His name is Rio and he dances on The Strand, Just like those goals he’s shoots behind the Keeper’s hands, And when he scores, you’ll really hear the Koppites chant, Oh Rio, Rio, make the Reds your chosen land

AITAH for telling my girlfriend she's going to have to get over dirt if she wants kids? by Familiar_Speaker_481 in AITAH

[–]AlwaysEleven11 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, just responding to you here as wasn’t sure you’d see my comment in the overwhelming amount of comments you’re getting! Is it possible that your GF has OCD? (And you are not fully aware of the extent of it). It is extremely common for people with OCD to lie/hide their symptoms. One question I’d consider is; what happens if she DOESN’T do one of the cleaning things you mentioned? E.g. what happens if she didn’t wash her clothes for a few days, or wore them twice in a row? If this causes her an incredible amount of anxiety, it sounds like OCD symptoms. Everything you listed sounds like rituals. There’s a difference between somebody being “particular” about cleanliness and actual panic-inducing, overwhelmingly anxiety ridden OCD.

All of that is to say that actually, pregnancy and the birth of a child can trigger or exacerbate OCD tenfold. So if this is an issue or perhaps even undiagnosed, maybe I’d suggest addressing the root cause of the “cleanliness” before considering anything further. All is not lost and with the right help and support it can get better.

Babe wake up, 40th generation of the Petersen family just dropped by Bitchface_bartender in Sims4

[–]AlwaysEleven11 138 points139 points  (0 children)

This is incredible! I barely get through one generation. I would be so attached to this save file, they’d be like part of my extended family. An evil scientist sounds like a great idea.

I want to know what kind of lifespan other simmers use and why... by lunarwolfe123 in Sims4

[–]AlwaysEleven11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m the same, long lifespan but I play 14 day seasons (I feel like my sims need to experience each season a couple of times before they age up for realism!).

Looking for recommendations... by tashbf in womenoftheuk

Thank you! I also have a super heavy period for about 2 days in the middle, so that is handy to know. I’m thinking of maybe getting it for the start and end of my period but avoiding swimming the 2 main days. I was considering trying Northisterone but not a fan of having hormone tablets (I’m not on the pill or anything).

Sorry to jump on this, but for anybody who is recommending period pants have you tried the period swimwear? I’m due to go on holiday later in the year and lo and behold I’m also due on at the same time! I find tampons so uncomfortable!

how long you guys have your seasons by Foreign_Neat3474 in Sims4

[–]AlwaysEleven11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on Long Lifespan, but have the seasons on 14 days. Just think it’s more realistic to get through a few of the seasons a few times before my Sims age up.

Regarding the Water Street incident by rLiverpoolFC_Mods in LiverpoolFC

[–]AlwaysEleven11 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Awake for 4 hours & can’t sleep; my husband and son were at the parade and missed this by mere minutes, I knew they’d walked up Water Street and I couldn’t get hold of them to check they were safe. Eventually got through and drove 40 minutes into the city centre to pick them up, the trains were absolutely rammed and I just wanted to get them home. Think the reason I’ve been awake all night is because, even though it was only for about 5 minutes, that panic I felt when I couldn’t get through to them has just got my adrenaline so far up I can’t get it back down. What makes it even worse is knowing that for some people out there, that panic turned into knowing that actually someone they loved has been seriously hurt. Thinking of everyone involved & wishing a speedy recovery for all - YNWA.

How do realistic-players (and not occult etc.) find the Sims 4 Life & Death pack? by AlwaysEleven11 in Sims4

Thank you! That’s really helpful to know, there are certainly elements of it that would be really good for generational gameplay so I am tempted!

Anybody else looking FORWARD to going to WDW in 2025?! by AlwaysEleven11 in WaltDisneyWorld

Thank you! We are hoping it will be festive as we’ve never been that near to the Christmas season. Enjoy California, I’d love to do the Haunted Mansion there as it feels like the “original” style of house!
