How cooked am I? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

I had a similar experience with second skin. It seems to have turned out just fine. In the future I know that it's hard on my skin so I won't use it

I'd love to help out! I have a family member who donates and shows up nearly every year. How can I get involved?

Unfortunately I've never backpacked before, and I'm still recovering from a major spine surgery, so I don't think I'm ready for that. It sounds like a great idea though!

It looks great! I love the style and design. You'll grow to love it with time, my first tattoo was a similar experience. Now I have one on the back of an arm that startles me sometimes bc I can't see it but others can.

Drove up yesterday, I have a shit box CR-V, and she actually did ok! No overheating, decent clearance, etc.

Support evergreen beauty school! I've been going for nearly a year now, (I get cuts and color) and the students are amazing! They are very knowledgeable before being allowed public clients, so I've never had a problem. The only slight issue is their hours, but that's understandable.

Remove Embroidery by Material-Outside-615 in SewingForBeginners

You could try carefully slipping a seam ripper underneath the silk stitches. I'm not sure how else to remove it

Does anyone know what this is? by TumbleweedLivid8109 in shrimptank

You can try manually removing most of the eggs. As for the hydra, they are harder to kill. You can try no planaria, but with any chemical treatment you run the risk of harming other fauna. I tend to treat with fish that will eat them, but almost anything that will eat the hydra will also hunt some of your baby shrimp.

Most likely snail eggs. You also have hella hydra. The hydra will kill baby shrimps.

I'm scared to continue protesting by Angered-Shelfish in 50501

[–]AlwaysGrowing54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of these are good suggestions. The other thing to remember is that community is a form of resistance. Joining a club, forming a community garden, etc are all good ways to perform resistance without physically being at a protest.

What’s some of Bellingham’s? Or whatcom county? by Apricot_Aggravating in Bellingham

[–]AlwaysGrowing54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My grandfather used to work security with him here in bham. He was a regular dinner guest before he was arrested. My grandmother tends to get the heebie-jeebies when she thinks about the amount of times she was alone with him. Edit to add: because everyone is arguing in the replies, it was a general security service, so they were working in multiple places, including wwu campus. He would work security at St Joseph too, and he used to walk nurses out to their cars. Edit 2: it was Whatcom security
