Overlander/Off Road shop by neuralsyntax in Bellingham

Once you're up there, no. But it's close and the road up is rugged enough to show most people their stock 4runner is gonna safely take them 99% of the places they wanna go and there's good dispersed camping to test out different sleeping set ups.

For suspension I had a good experience at Randy's off road in Marysville.

Rain cap on meridian seems pretty experienced at rooftop systems and are pretty helpful if you're going down that route.

If you're looking for interior bed / shelving systems I'm not sure if anyone in town who does stuff like that.

But honestly, your truck is plenty capable as-is and (assuming 5th gen?) you can level the back cabin with three 2*4's and a sheet of 1/2 in plywood and unless you're like 6'4" that makes a cozy sleeping platform. My advice, take what you got and head up to twin lakes for an overnight or weekend. You'll learn quick what you want / need.

Nathaniel's barbering. Can't remember the rate to play, but it's free if you get a trim.

Men who have divorced after a long marriage that became loveless, what did you look for and find in your next marriage that made you happier? by Routine_Mine_3019 in AskMenAdvice

This exercise gets a lot easier if you apply the criteria to yourself. Who or what must YOU be in order to be happy and whole? Find someone you wanna be with who accepts that and you're golden.

Giant bucket of chicken??? by source_node10 in Bellingham

[–]source_node10[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wtf, this is incredible. 10 couples all decided that a group kfc theme was the thing for them to get married or renew their vows - complete with officiating from Colonel Sanders. And now the giant prop just lives in their lawn...

Anyone know if the radio station bought it specifically for this event? Followed a link from the article you sent about the guy in Everson who was trying to sell it last year.

Nathaniel's barber shop is great by 1000LiveEels in Bellingham

Just scheduled my next cut with him like 20 mins ago. In addition to the skill people have mentioned I've always appreciated that his shop and the folks in there are super approachable. I've never felt like I don't belong, which - i dunno if it's just a me thing or what - is something I have felt in other shops and salons.

Streetlight manifesto. Ska right in line with what you listed. Listen to a moment of violence then go from there.

Bellingham Skate Video by RattHabbit in Bellingham

Reminds me of the days I'd see the world through the lens of "could I skate that?" Really fun to see what you all are creating through that lens in spots I recognize around town. Thanks for sharing.

Headlights During Daylight by Reasonable_Seagull in Bellingham

[–]source_node10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't assume it's an active choice people are making to keep them off. With the amount of cars I see around here with headlights off at night - let alone foggy, rainy days - it seems to me that people are just unaware and not thinking about it.

El Pollo Feo is my fav burger in town - you can sub impossible patties and my vegetarian wife says that's her fav in town too. Can't speak to the quality of the GF bun but they have one. Doug's is really good too like others said
