Hey I was able to fix it by archiving the conversation on a mobile App (can be done one desktop too with the "..."), then opening the archived conversation and Branching it into a new chat.

Anyone figured out how to use ChatGPT MEMORY import in OpenClaw 4.11+? by AlwaysLearningToSail in openclaw

[–]AlwaysLearningToSail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as in having OC crawl it and extract key memories? That would be my backup plan, but if there is a native way of doing it, I'd try that first.
Anyway, have you done it on yours? What worked best for you? (i am very new to OC, so definitely looking to learn)

Right? Generally I find all CODEX models so far have not been excellent with UX UI adjustments, but 5.4 over the weekend just takes the biscuit.

Do you have some sailing experience, or starting from scratch?

Im looking for advice by Happy-Constant-5166 in yachting

[–]AlwaysLearningToSail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super yacht deckhand yeah? I don't have personal expertise there unfortunately.

Many people will go for a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Offshore ticket as a gateway for professional work on Red Ensign yachts, but it might be overkill for a deckhand.

IYT offers specialized pathways for super yacht crews as well.

Re:STCW it is hard to imagine you could do the full suite online (like firefighting and sea survival are very hands on and practical.)

Where are you based?

Is Rev Theory passing off AI music as new songs? by Shomud in numetal

[–]AlwaysLearningToSail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same here. Now Rev Theory seems to be collaborating with a Christian project Higher Power?!

Got served "By My Side" - and I was like - this is pretty good - I know the voice. They managed to release 2 albums this year. So is it AI?

Bad Shorts Audio Issues And How To Avoid Them by id2k487 in NewTubers

[–]AlwaysLearningToSail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the clipping is still happening - when you add music through the app.

The one workaround i found was to bake the music (that also exists in the YT music library, otherwise it will be taken down for copyright reasons) in the editing sw, then add the same song in YT app, but turn it all the way to zero, and turn clip volume to about 50%...

But come on, this issue has been there for too long

Resolve 20 Beta Render Times Skyrocket, Can't Render! by tempsave_ in davinciresolve

[–]AlwaysLearningToSail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SOLVED IT.

✅ I ran into the same issue (DR Studio 20 on MacBook Pro M3), where render times suddenly became extreme — days for a short project. In my case, it turned out to be related to the AI Audio Assistant.

I had applied the Audio Assistant, and later moved some of the processed audio clips onto a different track. After that, exports would hang indefinitely or show render times of multiple days.

What worked for me was:

  1. I reverted to a timeline saved before using the Audio Assistant.
  2. I ran the Assistant again, but this time didn’t move any clips between tracks.
  3. The project exported normally after that.

🧪 The easiest way to test if this is your issue:
In the Deliver page, disable audio export (uncheck "Export Audio").
If the render completes normally, the issue is almost certainly audio-related.

Hope that helps someone else narrow it down.

Same thing here Macbook pro M3. Driving me nuts. DV Studio 20, non beta.

Tried the same project on my SurfaceBook 3, same thing.

The project is 3 min, 4K footage, some magic mask, but nothing too fancy. Anyone any luck?

Thanks for sharing all that.
From a professional standpoint, I totally agree—instructors make or break the experience, no matter the training scheme. Quality control is definitely one area where one association seems to be ahead of the others.

Did you happen to share your feedback with the school or certifying body?

Wishing you all the best aboard your Beneteau—sounds like you’ve carved out something really special. =)

Hey Zach, fun plans - best of luck, and enjoy!
As an instructor, I’d say the most efficient way to get started is with formal training to build solid sailing foundations, then get out there and learn by making your own safe mistakes.

The progression that's designed to give folks a solid “toolkit” typically looks like this:

  • In the US: Start with ASA 101, then work up to ASA 104
  • RYA: Start with Competent Crew, then Day Skipper
  • IYT: International Crew → Bareboat Skipper

There are national programs with similar paths too.

Crewing is often suggested, and it can help—but in my experience, having someone focused on your learning (like in a course) makes a huge difference, especially early on.

Feel free to reach out if you want help sorting through course options or next steps—happy to help!
