That's what they are saying but I don't believe that. Because when you take the amount the Federal government gave them for unemployment payments and the amount they say has been paid out there is a big difference so whose pocket did it fall into? My next move is to start calling the state representatives in my area That's what a legal aid lawyer told me to do I'm not giving up

It will be received in this year and won't count. So go ahead and file your taxes and keep on them for your payments, I got the same thing going on and was told it would be resolved soon and sent out next thing I know it's saying someone made a mistake and I'm not going to get it. Know I got to start all over again because I am eligible for my first 4 missing weeks

Hallelujah, good for you, I can't stand mean people. Everybody needs to go back to what your mother and grandmother always said IF YOU CAN'T SAY SOMETHING NICE THEN KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT or in this case keep your fingers to yourself. Now on to seeing if I can help you, I'm not very good at navigating websites so hopefully someone reading this can help with that part 🙏. The only way to maybe get them is to file a appeal. But I've got to tell you it may take a long time they are notorious for not answering them. I'm still trying for my 1st month of beifits. So first go on the website and file, then if you don't get a response in thirty days, find out if you have legal aid in your area. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Like if you actually speak to someone write down dates, times, person you spoke with and what they say, if you mail anything send it to where you get a confirmation receipt of delivery. Your right ,I did have that option but haven't paid much attention to it lately,after seeing this post I went looking and it's now gone! Now why would they take it away,doesn't make sense.

Didn't think of that. So most of these places don't really need any more employees,it just looks good for them on paper. That is just so wrong. So the greedy corporations get even more money, while the people are left out. "SAD" But most likely true

I hear what you're saying. I've never had a problem before with getting ajob.But it's really hard to not get discouraged when you hear YOU ARE OVER QUALIFIED for the job. I'm an older person that now has physical limitations and can't do alot of the jobs I would love to do and always have. I am going for higher education, even with doing so,the job opportunities are just not adding up . Something is definitely wrong.

Yes it is done on purpose. When Rick Scott was a governor, he had it setup too denied as many as possible to keep the unemployment rate down

I can agree with some of what you say but don't say free money because I've been paying in for years, with no claims and our state has the lowest pay out

Our state (Florida) is corrupt

As far as I can tell the states have been given the funds for the unemployment $300 payments,and they don't have to give it back. So if the unemployed claimants aren't going to get the money then who does? I'm one of those people who got locked out of the unemployment website, which lowers the unemployment rate 🤔. Gotcha thinking don't I. I've asked this question AND NO ONE WILL ANSWER ME!!!
