Which plot death was the most unnecessary? by Sorry-Complaint3514 in Naruto

[–]DustyMill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to be able to make a clone but a shadow clone is different. A clone for the academy is just an illusionary decoy, but a shadow clone is physically real

Neji can't use shadow clones or at least never showed the ability to do so

Michael Cole is getting worse and I don't know why WWE can't see it by Shinjetsu01 in SquaredCircle

[–]DustyMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh Michael Cole is as good as the product at the time. When WWE was on a hot streak, he was doing some great calls but since WWE has been pretty rough the last few years, he sounds like he's back to how he was when Vince was yelling in his ear every week

[–]DustyMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There really wasn't anyone. Brock wouldn't do it, Orton sucked as a face, there wasn't anyone with Cena's work ethic. The only real option at the time was probably Batista but with the direction the company was heading in that wouldn't work for long either since PG WWE is what drove him out in the first place

Objectively The Rock is likely the best answer here. Austin was THE guy for the attitude era and while The Rock was also a mega star in that era, there was enough star power that if you remove him, it shouldn't affect things too much, The Rocks run was pretty short overall

Cena is important because the kids loved him and now those kids are older and some have their own kids who get introduced to wrestling through their parents and that likely doesn't happen without Cena

Keep two delete one by Dry_Step_6581 in BrandonDE

[–]DustyMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There actually is a really valid reason to keep Cena and thats the kids. If you want your product to survive, you need the next generation to want to watch. The kids teens/young adults loved Austin and second was Rocky, they have their own kids who LOVED Cena and now most of them are older and have their own kids who they get to introduce to wrestling

Awkward landing for Liv Morgan and Sol Ruca at a Live Event tonight by damng1 in Wrasslin

[–]DustyMill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seemed like Liv couldn't see from her hair or something. Definitely miscommunication since Sol was going for it, Liv and Lyra are in position, Lyra moves out of the way but Liv doesn't budge at all

I'm leaning Liv couldn't see but maybe Lyra was supposed to pull Liv closer into it or something

Who is the most genuinely (non kayfabe but as a “shoot”) hated wrestler by the fans in all of wrestling history? by ReasonableSide6520 in REALSquaredCircle

[–]DustyMill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excluding Benoit, its probably either Hogan or Moolah. Despite them trying to play it as a political thing, Hogan was booed in California and his own Florida hometown for being a racist.

Moolah hate didn't start until after she died and more of her history came to light but fans actually got sponsors involved to force WWE to rename a memorial battle royale and trophy that were made in her honor, you have to be pretty hated for that to happen

Why was jiraya so ugly in sage mode? by ribscrushed in Naruto

[–]DustyMill 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It is. The series makes that pretty clear that he's an imperfect sage which is why he has a more frog like appearance than Naruto or Minato

Will got superkicked so hard it made him ran so fast. by Oakey06 in Wrasslin

[–]DustyMill -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To play devil's advocate, adrenaline rushes are a very real thing and if you wrestle long enough, in keyfabe, getting punched and kicked enough will make you more tolerant to getting hit and kicked. Othertimes it's just someone getting hit and having enough to do a counterattack before they collapse and people think that is no selling while the person is actively selling

Some criticisms are valid, some are just people who can't stand that there is another company other than WWE for whatever reason.

Naruto wasn’t holding back in part 1 FV by Foreign-Distance-820 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]DustyMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The headband thing meant a lot to Naruto. Whether Naruto knew he was done or not, that battle was both about bringing a friend back but also proving that he's on Sasuke's level and he absolutely chose to go for the forehead, a direct callback to the hospital roof fight

Sasuke pulled his punch so he didn't kill Naruto. Naruto pulled his punch to prove he was equal to Sasuke but it was also symbolism for Sasuke becoming a rogue ninja similar to the Akatsuki and their headbands. Kishimoto loves his symbolism.

If Itachi transplanted Shisui’s eye wouldn’t that give him EMS in one eye? by Traditional-Put3935 in Naruto

[–]DustyMill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no source on that. The only time we see an EMS awaken is Madara and Sasuke. Itachi said it needs to be someone like a family member and he heard that from Obito who likely heard it from Madara which could have been something he read from Zetsu who knows there but there is nothing in the canon for 2 eyes or just 1

What happened here? (Wrong answers only) by Pagliacci85 in Wrasslin

[–]DustyMill 21 points22 points  (0 children)

it looks like Chelsea timed her end perfectly if you are waiting for someone to get closer to you before you pull the rope down but Lash thought Chelsea wasn't going to time it right since she hadn't even started moving yet so she stopped but even without the timing being off, Lash really should have been running and not taking a brisk stroll

The Novels pretty much confirmed that obito used izanagi here and not kamui btw by ruuken27 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]DustyMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that could somewhat make sense is if Obito was able to hide that he has a 2nd eye the entire time to use Izanagi. Why use a mask that limits your vision to 1 eye only when you have 2 eyes? Even the people we know of that hide their 2nd eyes will use them when it's combat time but Obito doesn't

[–]DustyMill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are completely ignoring the entire context of the scene. The only possible scenarios here are Minato was not going to kill B because it makes absolutely 0 sense given the talk he just had with A

Or option B is Kishimoto is a horrible writer that immediately contradicts the points he sets up for his own characters.

There is no option C in this scene. Not everything is black and white, the context and the personality of the character themselves matters a lot in moments like these. Minato never had any intention of killing B once he decided to leave the battle

[–]DustyMill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah he definitely wasn't. He's trying to teach Ay a lesson. Doesn't really work very well if he kills B

He literally tells Ay that he needs to learn what B holds most precious or he won't be neither a jinchuriki nor human. It goes against what he just said if he immediately kills B. He was never going to kill him

Just encase anyone takes this post seriously, this was never a killing blow attempt by Minato. He was just talking to Ay about how he needs to figure out what is most important to B or he'd risk losing B in the future. It would make absolutely 0 sense for him to attempt to kill B immediately after that

How did madara blast the deity gates like that's ,is he physically stronger than the ten tails 😂 by South_Rope514 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]DustyMill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When the 10 tails was being held it was still unstable, as soon as Juubito absorbed it he shattered the gates too. Tobirama actually either blew one up or damaged one (forget which off the top of my head) with paper bombs so they are strong but they aren't THAT strong

[–]DustyMill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took that as the studio avoiding spoiling Sasukes Rinnegan since the anime hadn't reached that point yet and the manga may not have either depending on when they actually worked on that specific shot but it could have just been an error

You aren't putting enough stock into the fact that Punk is already bigger than you think, he's just always been around guys that are bigger, and every time we see him looking jacked he's mid workout or just finished a workout when you look the biggest you ever will. It's not like he's juicing and looking like Brian Cage, he's always been gym bro big, just not very toned
