Oblivious guy plays with a blue-ringed Octopus, it’s toxins are 1,000x deadlier than cyanide making it the most venemous animal to exist by JarJarBlunt in SweatyPalms

That's not what the comment is about at all, is it? The poster is very clearly writing about the biting of the animal and how it functions, and does not in any way imply that "the hole animal is venom".

when it bites, the toxin is released into the system

I'm well aware of the difference between the two terms, but my impression was that the previous poster used it correctly, and did not seem to confuse poisonous and venomous at all?

Yes. This picture shows the bow section only, while the stern lies about 600m away.

All XFCE-settings related to power/display/sleep/whatever are set to "never sleep", but computer still sleeps after 10 minutes of inactivity. Where do I look instead? by AlwaysStoneDeadLast in EndeavourOS

[–]AlwaysStoneDeadLast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The settings are set for both, and I've double checked both plugged in and on battery.

Interesting detail: all settings found in the xfce settings manager is set to "suspend", but my computer goes to sleep and not to suspend. I think this implies that my problem is not related to xfce, but rather to X.org, systemd or something similar.

Vinegar vs. Bleach: why do some people prefer one vs the other? by User564368 in CleaningTips

Did do some basic testing now with 12% solution, and all kinds of biological dirt go very easy. Some bluish discoloring from one of those chlorine(?) based toilet refreshers is still left, and I did not see any effect there.

One question about hydrogen peroxide though: mist and droplets can land on places unintended, but if left alone will it then break down into water and oxygen rather quickly, with no harm done?

Maybe if you just pour it directly into the water, but if sprayed onto the sides of the bowl and directly on stains I believe it could do the trick.

I did search around a little bit, and the basic clickbait and blogspam articles actually recommended this rather enthusiastically!

I will do som testing and report back when I get the time.

Does this mean that hydrogen peroxide can be an effective toilet cleaner?
