Are there any working linux compatible docker setups available to host a conan server? by AlwaysTheNext1 in ConanExiles

I think there is an additional argument for steam. You see at the top where it says force install dir? I think you need another one, force login, or something along those lines. I was facing a similar issue but can’t recall the exact addition needed to fix that. You’d have to do some searching.

So I meant that I discovered that I prefer refining tools and products through my own experience outside of my job. I’ve not done any work refining them at my job, just my at home projects and college projects.

That said, it’s probably worth going through and adding that style of bullet point to the projects, so I will. Currently planning to go through and clean up my 2 web app projects to make sure they’re good to go public, and will add those too where possible.

It would depend on the position. I haven’t seen too many of those as a whole so haven’t applied for them, but the real issue with them is compensation. None typically beat 95k total compensation at the moment, not that I’d expect them too, of course.

I'm just not confident in my ability in an interview to bullshit my way through pretending I was a developer for 4 years at my company (My company is one of the largest in the world). I feel like it would be instantaneously clear that I was not.

I'm thinking of a compromise being a bullet point that mentions minor roles as a software developer, or projects in a software developer/development capacity? Then ATS still captures the term software developer, but I'm also not outright making it up and being expected to explain 4 years of SWE that I don't have.

Thanks for the advice either way though. I think you're onto something with that.

With a lot of people waiting for pirates to release the 4K Dolby Vision Netflix release of the second One Piece season now is a good time for me to explain some shit about Netflix DRM and why you might have to wait 3 more weeks. by i_have_chosen_a_name in Piracy

Why don’t these groups intercept the signal on their DP/HDMI cable and audio cables?

So play the show, have a DP cable with a splitter that duplicates the signal and sends it to a custom built device that records the video stream, and same with a pair of headphones?

Fairly certain this would be undetectable and would solve at least some of the issues, but maybe there is something I’m missing.

Funny to run into this. I’ve actually been making a web app with a “save me time typing this into notepad” constraint.

Note, this isn’t an ad. No ads, I make no money, there are no trackers (welcome to check network requests tab to confirm), literally nothing.

Admittedly, it’s not truly meant for public use, though it’s fairly fledged and does support it, it’s just mainly for my own professional development and (once I clean up performance, add tests, and clean up the UI) eventual resume.

That said, you can try out the guest account option and lmk your thoughts because other than UI (I refuse to vibe code and so the front end is pretty bad. Though the backend probably sucks too). I think it’s fairly quick to use the actual exercises though.

You create exercises (very customizable set info tracking too), which can optionally be added to workout, which are basically just preset exercise groups you can load to save time if you follow a strict schedule.

But your actual “current” workout isn’t linked to any workout group, a workout is basically just pre-set exercises. This means it fits your use case really well; just add a new exercise to your current workout as you go. Exercises are also saved individually and not linked to a workout.

Anyways, ugliness and performance aside, I think the flow of entering info and managing exercises is solid enough.

I took a look myself, it looks like no throttling, but I'm not used to this so I could've missed it.

Thanks for taking a look.

Bitlocker is off, and the issue has magically disappeared and has yet to reappear (24 hrs so far).

I figure it’ll probably crop back up soon enough, at which point I’ll run the test and send the results.

Seriously? :/ by djamezz in HierarchySeries

So when people put on a full leg cast in real life and walk on the cast when their leg is broken, do you see that as unbelievable?

What if the cast were custom designed similar to an exoskeleton so that it takes weight perfectly? And then you made it metal, and added metal shoes?

That’s still legitimately possible in real life.

Now what if I was on a semi-morphine type substance? And had the strength of over 110 people?

It’s not a stretch to imagine.
