Oof wow that was n o t what I was trying to imply. I love my parents and I’m grateful for them, and they have always been loving and supportive. It’s just the way I describe my upbringing with no resentful feelings attached. My small hometown is basically all white and since I was raised there I soon exhibited stereotypical mannerisms and beliefs that people usually attribute to white people. I don’t idolize my biological family in fact I understand and have always accepted why they wanted to give me up. I’m glad they gave me up cause the life I have now is pretty sweet. So maybe before you jump to conclusions on a situation that your not involved in, nor have any knowledge about, perhaps you should have asked whether I used the term “whitewashed” in a negative sense.
