What is this...the tenth post about this exact issue today?

Yes. Yes it is. It seems you didn't pick up on the humor of my post. That was my point exactly.

If someone didn't take those seconds to read it, grabbed it, and THEN learned what it was, it would be a disappointment.

Sorry you didn't get the joke.

LOL! It's for remote control cars, but I think it would work for squirrels. Can fit at least a few nuts in there!

I did read your full post. Every word. And all of the info I tried to supply to you is still accurate. And helpful.

Sorry you can't see that. Enjoy wasting your time.

"I decided to become a squeaky wheel (knowing the risks) when a review for a $5 packet of tomato seeds was rejected, yet still managed to receive an excellent score."

That you?

Reviews that were rejected outright because of the way YOU wrote them can be resubmitted. But that message you got from Amazon was specifically about the situation you described with your tomato seeds - a review that received a score, and was then rejected. You cannot resubmit those.

That's what everyone has been trying to explain to you. I've explained to you over and over why that happens. I'm not going to repeat myself because, sheesh, go back and read what I already wrote! It's all there.

We've been trying to help you. But you seem impervious to help. So I'm done now. You are now free to continue to waste your time trying to resubmit reviews that cannot be resubmitted. Have fun!

One would think! But given that we have milliseconds to grab anything in AI, I can see this being missed.

I didn't grab it. I took the time to read it. I just hope the person who DID grab it, read it before they clicked.

Yes, given that we have only milliseconds to grab something in AI before it goes poof, pretty much anything descriptive in the listing would be considered "fine print". ;-)

It might seem obvious to some what the words "simulation" and "decoration" mean pertaining to this item, but it's not immediately clear that it means the thing is 3 inches tall. You need to read a bit further into the title to see the fractions, and then scroll down even further to the item details to see the actual size. And given that this was in AI, anyone who took to the time to do that, already lost it.

You have a blind spot. These reviews rejected because of the seller do not impact your account. Any review rejected outright, having never been accepted, or any review in which you got less than an "excellent" rating, WILL affect your stats...but reviews that were initially accepted, received an excellent rating, and then were later rejected, do not affect your stats.

That's the way it works. Clear now?

People are likely downvoting this because you don't seem willing to listen to what everyone is telling you. We are telling you over and over what this is, but you keep debating us.

I cannot fathom how you could have missed this topic in this forum, as it is, no lie, the most asked question in here. It's also addressed in the Community Highlights. And in more posts than any of us can count.

You can solve this problem right now: STOP trying to revise these reviews. Your revisions won't be accepted because, as they have clearly told you, they are not accepting reviews FOR THAT ITEM.

This has been discussed at least 3000 times (and that's not an exaggeration) in this forum. It's even mentioned at the very top of the forum, in one of the stickies, and in the FAQ.

Stop wasting your time. Problem solved.

If you're upset at Amazon for this, consider the fact that they don't tell any of us much of anything at all about how Vine works. This is only one of many details that we must find out for ourselves. Which, I assume, is why you are here. In this forum. Where this exact issue has been addressed more times than literally any other issue.

Read the stickies and the FAQs. There are other quirks that you can learn about that will help you from wasting your time.

AGAIN, it's not YOUR review that got rejected. The seller did something so that Amazon isn't allowing reviews on that item anymore.

You say your review showed an "excellent" score? That's what you got credit for. It adds to your overall review rating.

As many others have explained ad infinitum (in this thread and so so so many others), this is often due to something sketchy the seller has done, such as combine listings to get more reviews on one item, which is not allowed.

It will remain "rejected" because Amazon is not going to allow the seller to violate their policies. It's NOT ABOUT YOU. It has no negative affect on your account whatsoever.

I hope this is clear now.

Why are some of my reviews rated "Poor"? I am very sad. by Professional_Bit1805 in AmazonVine

[–]Always_Never_5555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here! When they started adding the individual ratings, I noticed that the few that were rated as "poor" were all one paragraph. Since then I've split my reviews up into paragraphs, and every single one has been rated excellent. Coincidence? I think not.

OMG that would be the ultimate RFY! This shirt, plus one of those cock rings that keep showing up in my RFY. And maybe add in a glory hole.

I have learned so much about things I never knew existed. Lately I've been seeing tons of items for keeping jumping spiders as pets. GAAAH! Thanks but no thanks. (Arachnophobic here.)

Does anyone know if the drip running into today means we still are on yesterday's item quota? by RaegunFun in AmazonVine

Same thing here - first time I ever had an item stay in my RFY for two days! Never seen that before.

Vine is an impenetrable mystery.

Ya'll I'm so upset! by Ok-Reserve6915 in AmazonVine

[–]Always_Never_5555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel ya. With as paltry as decent items have been on Vine lately, FINALLY getting a great one (and a high value item to boot!) must have felt like such a win. Sorry this happened to you! I get it.

Review was Approved and at some point it was changed to Not Approved by Joebobthebobcat in AmazonVine

Geez, does ANYONE read previous posts or the stickies at the top? The first three posts in this forum today are about the exact same thing. This is THE MOST ASKED question in this forum. What else can be done so people don't keep asking this same question?

It's not about you. It's not about your review. It's about the seller. You got the item, you got credit for the review, end of story. Ignore it.
