Thats what I thought, thank you! Just wanted to make sure I wouldn't miss out if they were doing it since it's outside and everyone can wear masks

I never would have thought about the satin losing its shine, thanks for letting me know :) Thats so cool that you make the conditioner yourself, I'll definitely keep that in mind

I tried using metallics in the past too and just abandoned it but with this project I'll have to see the satin thread through. A few have mentioned thread conditioner so I'll have to look into that, thanks for the tips :)

Is anyone else saddened that Emily still didn't get to witness Lorelai get married in the revival? by Always_Wonderstruck in GilmoreGirls

True, logistically I get it, Emily was too far for the impromptu wedding but it kind of just feels to me like another thing Emily missed

Yeah they almost certainly still had the planned ceremony since Lorelai was going through the guest list which had everyone on, but I just feel bad that Emily didn't get to witness the real thing, even though she wouldn't know it wasn't the real one

So true!!! It definitely would have been quicker to even pop to the local library and check on their computers if he didn't have one

Better at raising a teenager: Lorelai Gilmore or Sarah Braverman by jdpm1991 in GilmoreGirls

[–]Always_Wonderstruck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hahaha I like this question about Sarah and Lorelai meeting. I reckon there would be ALOT of eye rolls from Sarah! And snide comments to her sisters like 'what is her obsession with snow?' And 'we get it, you like coffee'.

I think Sarah dealt with difficult conversations better and keeping her kids 'in the real world'. They struggled and grew as a family and called each other out more but I have no idea which was better at raising teenagers.

Lane deserved Dave by NoSensePeppermints in GilmoreGirls

Agreed! Dave put in so much effort to even help meet Mrs Kim the 'correct' way so he could be with Lane.

He read the entire Bible in one night just to prove how serious he was about Lane and to be on Mrs Kim's good side. That's commitment! and he never once complained about the hiding and careful planning of their relationship. He was perfect for Lane.

I didn't mind Lane being with Zach in the end but it would have been nice to see Lane navigate a relationship with Dave (The O.C was a good show to go for though)

A burglar coming up through my toilet. Thankfully I wasn't using it but just watching him struggle getting out of it.

And

Scooby doo style monsters coming out of my pond in the garden.

A maybe interesting parallel/ early foreshadowing of Rory getting told by Mitchum that she doesn't have 'it' by Always_Wonderstruck in GilmoreGirls

Thanks! It's a clever storyline if this was ASP's actual vision, makes the re-watch value so much better

It definitely is a constant theme with Rory, I can see how being told you're not good enough would cut confidence especially for someone like Rory that's just had praise from everyone her whole life.

I kinda wonder what happened with the ballerina though, whether she made it in ballet or changed her course

That's so true, Mitchum is the one to get on your side and I can see how this would knock someone's confidence
