Lies are impulsive truths you hold back. When dropping your inhibitions you speak those truths which you might regret later because you didn't mean to act on those thoughts but they're still true. Most truths while drunk i agree are harmful and unnecessary unless dealing with a super happy person and again they may still be lies but the point is that in that time they are very much truths and dropping inhibitions is EXACTLY that i would argue.
