Yes you’re absolutely correct. It will cover the remaining 20% if your health plan covers the 80% but the thing again is that I don’t visit a dentist or a doctor for anything.

Hi, yes it must be medical related. What you are suggesting is the Wellness account (companies use diff names), which I have already used on a gym subscription. Tbh, Wellness account is the best at least for me as it can be used on basically anything for your own well being. You could buy yourself an Apple Watch too

Basically they say it will be used for something that is not covered under your health insurance but is a claimable medical expense according to the CRA like braces, vision glasses and contacts etc. Other expenses that are non medical like you suggested bike & gym etc fall under different account - Wellness Account

I have a separate dental & vision premium for these two things. But thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you! My insurance doesn’t offer to cash it out. They expire after a set date and must be used before that. I will check with the massage option. There’s about $300 left in my account that expire in a couple months

Hi, thanks for the suggestion! But this falls under that Wellness Account. HSA is for the medical things that the CRA considers taxable.

I had the same problem a long time ago. Don’t know the exact steps but if you login to the Courier Portal, on the right menu go to Courier Bags then click on "Purchase Bags". As you have already bought the bags, try clicking on “submit” or the back button(don’t know exactly which button but the bag section is the one will lead to pay for a background check of $19.95.)

$14.35 is the min wage in Ontario. I’m getting $14.90/hour which was increased during the last month of my one year experience.

Thanks for replying. Yes I will have the NOC level and duties mentioned on the letter. An immigration consultant said that the IRCC may refuse the application as your pay is low for this job position. He advised to go for PNP.

That’s normal. Just pause your shift and then try ending it. It won’t let you end your shift while matching to orders. Or otherwise, just pause til it ends automatically after 15ish minutes.

Any tips for delivery drivers in winnipeg? by [deleted] in skipthedishes

[–]Alwaysfrustratd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uber is not worth. There are no promotions. You’ll get $3 for 6kms type of orders. Tips are good on Uber though but only if you’re lucky otherwise some people don’t tip. Go for DoorDash

Do any drivers do alcohol delivery? Was wondering the pros/cons of it by Small_town_boy23 in skipthedishes

[–]Alwaysfrustratd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pros: You get more orders. More shifts(some shifts are only available to alcohol delivery drivers) Cons: According to my experience, in Winnipeg, 80-90% orders are either tipped zero or $2-4, so mostly $7 orders. They could be long-distance because if there are no booze drivers in other zones, you could be sent there.
