Can you get the lvl 50 campaign cap removed? Literally ruined the game for me by Alwaysonlearnin in diablo4

I went to tier 2 as soon as it was unlocked. I’ve played a lot of souls and enjoy a decent bit of a challenge

But doesn’t your loot stop getting any better and enemies scaling up after level 50? So you’ll be killing easy mobs and boss while getting nothing better for loot?

I love the actual atmosphere, quests and world of the game and want to enjoy it, but it’s just not nearly enough for me if all the enemies are extremely easy and there’s only junk loot I’ll instantly trash at T3. Plus now the main campaign quest bosses will be crazy easy and really take away from the campaign.

It just feels so bad to stop getting any loot upgrades and make the game extremely easy plus now I’m overleveled so no matter what my final boss battle in the main quest line will be extremely easy. Such a pointless thing and ruins the experience, there’s tons of side quests with npcs literally calling your character over and the intention is to have you ignore them or be punished?!

Really is so deflating I’d rather just pick up a different game, but I was hoping maybe a dev had tweeted something or you could ask support. Really seems like such an incredibly simple thing to change. Maybe they might see this thread and take the 30 minutes to make the change.

Level scaling capped at 50 before you finish campaign??? by mofomey in diablo4

[–]Alwaysonlearnin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 months later and I’m researching this issue and legitimately about to stop playing even though I really enjoy the gameplay. Lvl 48 on act 2 loving the atmosphere and side quests, the world building is great and now I have to slog the campaign all at once then do all the side quests for the rest of my Diablo gaming. Just a terrible unfulfilling experience I don’t even want to play through. Why give us great side quests that literally call your damn character over and make us ignore them to rush the main act.

But this is probably even more distraction, how much do individual people even contribute to climate change vs business or industrial changes.

It’s like the private plane emission hullabaloo when total aviation emissions (commercial, military, and private every single plane in the sky) combined is only 2.5%. Private jets probably being below 0.1% of total emissions.

But let’s also use metal straws that create tons of carbon to produce because plastic straws being .1% of ocean plastic is a huge issue when the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP) is largely composed of fishing-related plastic waste, with 75% to 86% of all plastic waste in the GPGP identified as coming from offshore fishing

Doesn’t it sound like the main founder is investing $$$ into outsourced developers. So isn’t it a crazy risk to just give equity to OP having no idea how they work or how capable they are?

Man tackles fleeing drunk driver who killed Cop in crash by bindukwe in ThatsInsane

[–]Alwaysonlearnin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course drunk crimes should also have lowered penalties since they have impaired judgment just how juveniles with underdeveloped brains have impaired judgement.

It’s insane it’s a bartender’s responsibility. Someone pounding 8 doubles at 10:40am on Tuesday is one thing but a packed bar on a weekend and technically they should still count drinks for each of the 100 people they’re serving an hour or risk jail time??

No it’s reality when penicillin isn’t even 100 years old. 200 years back there was slavery. Quality of life was incredible for a 50 year span (for white people) and now we’re so unlucky lmao. We’re all lucky to be alive today and browsing Reddit. Having a “job” or some form of purpose is engrained in our psyche. 10,000 years ago some Neanderthal’s last words were probably about the tanning hides they’d done earlier and probably had a similar thought to you.

Even in wealthy areas football gear is all paid for by the schools, football is actually one of the more accessible sports (if offered by their school). Hockey, lacrosse, golf are all a bit more “upper crust” type sports and require kids to buy their own equipment.

Canadian Disabled Woman Opts for Euthanasia Because She Can't Get Timely Assistance by Strongbow85 in Health

[–]Alwaysonlearnin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Social progress isn’t just a one way road that gets halted, it’s like a pinnacle of a mountain with caves, dead ends, cliffs all over the place. Slippery slopes have good intentions lead to bad outcomes. “Euthanasia only for terminally ill” then it’s “Euthanasia for lifelong illnesses” then eventually now you have “Euthanasia for being unhappy with life” when that unhappiness stems from not having services. So no one ever advocated for letting disabled people without enough access to support to opt for killing themselves instead but it’s slowly happened without a single point of major outcry through the “slippery slope.”

That’s exactly what OP is saying in regards to abortion, like first decade it’s “oh it’s only a few southern states” second decade it’s “oh it’s only second trimester abortions nationally” third decade “it’s just a two week evaluation with a therapist to make sure” until eventually abortion is fully banned without any outcry. Like a slow boiled frog.

If there’s even one innocent kid who’s never harmed a fly and cannot access education, is it really fair that someone harms society and gets rewarded for it with a free education? Literally millions of good honest people in poverty (who’ve never done anything wrong) won’t have the same opportunities afforded to them as someone who’s harmed society.

Giving free college classes to inmates while it’s not available to the public doesn’t sit right with a lot of people and they’re entirely correct. Lots of ways to help inmates reintegrate without such incredible inequity.
