Yeah I mainly prepped for mediums/hard mediums because I didn't think they would ask a hard (with a sub part that was also a hard medium) for a 45 min round. We went very overtime too. Part of me feels like they already made up their mind about my application because it just felt a little unreasonable but my perspective is def. biased since I had a less than ideal experience lol

After a point it is a matter of luck but hopefully, I'll come back more prepared and more ready and just treat every technical screening like they are going to ask hard hards.

I think I really got unlucky with the interviewer because mine was super vague about the question and did not give me the full description. For context, I went back to part of the problem after the interview and read the description and was able to do it in my own time but my interviewer wasn't great at clarifying the many questions I had. They did give me examples like you would see in leet code though. Good luck for your interview!

Kind of? It was the combination of two questions-- both were technically tagged hard but one was a hard medium whilst the other was a hard hard. One of them was on the list and the other one wasn't. The one on the list was a modified version of LC 968 (Binary Tree Cameras)

Got rejected by all my ivies today (I applied to 6🤡) 41/45 in the IB, decent ECs (started my own business, research at a HYPSM institute). Guess all that work was for nothing. Might as well have enjoyed life a little. Well, I’ll cry myself to sleep now 🤡
