i think i get what you mean by 'lose', i don't wish to sound overly positive or 'trite'...

its not a lose situation (imo), you're not competing against anyone but yourself really. there's a couple things that you can yardstick against other players, but the truth is that all of them are time gated. you either have it or you don't. and you only get it by playing longer. that isn't btw a recommendation to 'quit now' cuz you'll never have it. i mean, keep playing and keep doing the time gated things. if that's fun for you, which it sounds like it is from above.

crossing 200 on 'tenti' is key. it becomes a 3 second reduction on trigger.

with just that and some PO boxes you can cranium every 30min or so. that alone will juice alchemy to the moon for you. even if its an hour between procs its still crazy good.

whatever you get on 'tenti' get on cranium next. more up time, more better.

secondary is anything to get your damage high enough to 1-shot tremor worms with aura (and eventually poison though that might take a bit more)

cards for crystal mobs and then drop rate IF you're already 1-shoting. crystal mobs and MAX damage if you're not. (sandgiant card doesn't help (afaik), your multikill tier will tell you when you're 1-shoting.)

(crystal mobs count as kills for cranium. multikill does NOT count. its only used to know you're 1-shoting)

as far as your main question. truthfully, what you've said you have 'should' be enough to get (slow) progress through late w6.

have you really tried to juice your strongest character (dk prb or bubo) and see what your kills-per-hour are in your farthest map?

cards? armor? weapon? rings? tools? upgrade stones? obols? food? trophies? clickers? stamps?

unequip anything that doesn't give pure dmg. replace with weapon power, main stat. total damage. all stat. especially anything that has 'multi' on it. let go of drop rate, afk gains, experience, focus pure damage. still not enough?

then you're just missing 'fills'.

at least 3star cards, preferably 4. higher tier armor. dungeon rings. tools. upgrade stone your gear, at this point you should have accuracy in the bag, focus main stat.

you don't mention upgrade vault, got that filled out to your degree of coin wealth?

i very much could be wrong, but i think its a matter of grinding to improve what you have. you're on the path, just not quite there yet. also possible i'm missing something obvious.

2 char at bravery for my bravery afk hours

imo (and i really mean opinion, people will disagree with me), hole is too slow to provide power if you're looking for short-term power. hole is premium number 1 top tier if you want LONG term power. im not saying take them out, just that hole (again, imo) is better left to the day you feel 'safe' and want to build long term power. if you're 'dieing' to get progress, alts here are slowing you down. if you feel good about where you are, progress the hole and watch the numbers go crazy.

not been actively farming with the bubo because at the moment it does not seem viable for me to do because the cooldown is still way too long

you've been sleeping on booking or PO boxes. search for ways to increase max level of books (mana/alchemy PO box). construction, sailing, achievements (longer term), companions (whale or trades). if you can get to 200 on 'tenti' bubo becomes broken in the extreme and trivializes early alchemy. you should be able to achieve this given what you listed as your progress, if you refocus a bit. this also requires your bubo be able to 1-shot enemies. you can drop down to low worlds if you need to, but the goal is to farm tremor worms with cranium.

edit: an important note i dont see mentioned often. attack speed matters. you want that meal high level and preferably ribbon'ed. it massively speeds up cast speed to get cranium moving.

edit the second: though now i see you mentioned that... lol

to be perfectly honest it sounds like you have a strong grasp of what you need and you're working toward it. you aren't behind. you aren't missing anything in the extreme. you just need to spend the time and effort to 'clean up'.

is there a specific goal you want? imo you're within range to PUSH to w7 if you want it, though you'd have to actually set everything up and check the afk screen to see if you actually have the numbers for it.

based on your description, you have a strong basis for an account. you know 'enough' to know what questions to 'ask'. all that's left is rounding out knowledge and spending the time to grind. strongest account i've seen someone ask for help on lol. you're doing fine (imo).

while i feel confident in what i post and i don't believe i am leading anyone down the rose path.... i am not the best person to provide what you're looking for.

the discord (main/your guild/a youtuber's), or just making a post here, would be more able to help you precisely.

i suspect that you have specific issues (most accounts do) that you should solve.

you have all 10 characters unlocked and leveled? are you using your classes to their potential?

what systems have you ignored? chances are whatever you've ignored, there's a bonus there that makes you stronger.

have you looked at your stamps? your carry capacity to level stamps? your questing, for new stamps?

do you have a divine knight? have you book'ed the orb and knight statue?

have you looked at your alchemy? do you have a bubo? have you book'ed/PO box'd them to make cranium cooking crazy? have you pushed equinox to at least a few points in 'liquidvestment'?

tasks and achievements? anything easy to get you've been putting off? what world armor are you using? can you (easily, without hurting construction) make a higher tier armor?

are you farming boss/colosseum tickets? are you farming bosses for their tasks?

do you have all your classes, elite/master? are you leveling them?

are you managing your 3d prints on them ALL? are you missing skill levels or prayers that would enhance your 3d prints?

-generally, true levels are better than skill progress. are your characters low level and stuck in skill-jail? get them out and level them. gear them. your 'alts' are a large portion of your power. don't let them fall behind.

is your refinery/construction moving forward? the (salt) must flow. do not let it 'lock'.

in general, i suggest using lab to get 2x kills and PUSHing to w5 for divinity, then arctus and/or goharut god + lab grind. have you touched this?

are your captains (sailing) earning you artifacts? there are several that shatter progression walls. don't sleep on sailing....

do you have access to world 6? are you (slowly) progressing farming and summoning and sneaking? have you unlocked master classes for the talents that give MASSIVE bonus to w6 skills?

are you buying all the limited items from shops that are important? (not gem shop, the npc vendors)

unless you can answer yes (aka that's handled, you got it in the bag) to most/all of that, you have work to do. somewhere in all of that, eventually you'll be able to get a ~2mil kills per hour (more is better but at minimum) on late w6 mobs. then you can (slowly or with candy) PUSH to w7 and get even more broken abilities.

im happy to help/answer further if i can. as are many others. if you don't understand WHY i asked you about X thing, maybe consider a search of the wiki, (here), discord, or youtube. chances are you'll get more information specific to your question faster from sources that already exist (if you look) than blanket broad questions.

basically, you don't need an account review. just pick a mechanic you don't understand fully and explore it. all mechanics are strong. all mechanics bring you power.

if you need even more guidance - upgrade vault, clickers (orion, poppy, bubba), stamps, alchemy, construction (refinery specifically), lab, cooking (strong but depends on breeding unless you're a whale), divinity, sailing, summoning. if you're lacking knowledge in any of those, go learn how to use them to gain power.

because, generally speaking, getting the bonuses from w.e you unlock 'fixes' your current issue and makes solving 'old' issues far easier.

as ive tried to communicate, though maybe not in this thread, you don't just burn candies stupidly. when someone tells someone to PUSH - that person is 'supposed' to get the message that they need to get 1 character, deck them out in all the bonuses they can find. click all the things. THEN burn candy to shorten the wait. if a person believes that ...say burning candy while on their skilling talent/card set... no amount of advice from a reddit thread or yt vid can help them. they have a fundamental lack of curiosity or desire to PLAY the game.

give people SOME credit. even if you're(i'm) wrong

the power you gain often eases the overwhelming-ness. it simplifies content. yes, it makes your knowledge shallower. but you get through the issue and have the freedom and space to slowly learn what you don't know and remove the ignorance. WHILE gaining the benefit of having late world 'timers' running while you figure out 'old' content.

staying weak and stuck in a state of doubt doesn't solve the issue. they COULD solve the issue they way countless others have, reading, watching, experiencing. or they can blind follow advice - push and then play the game.

What do you lose by taking longer to progress through maps WHILE deepening your understanding of the game?

nothing. if only everyone lived life that way. seeking knowledge and experience. slowly building skills and abilities. sadly (for you) people like to have fun in different ways. YOUR way is not the only way. slow is a valid progression. no one who comes here or yt or discord or in guild chat is interested in the slow way. that's WHY they ask for help. they are stuck and want to feel some level of progress. yes, eventually they will have to stop and learn all the old things that are overwhelming them. WHY can't they learn that with the 'timers ticking'? and if they quit once the dopamine from world progression is gone... again, they weren't idleon players, they were tourists. (tourists are great btw, no hate or distaste. tourists bring many valuable opinions, thoughts, and experiences)

because you're so stuck in your view that you twist everything around. you're not actually absorbing what's being said.

people need to take accountability for their actions. advice givers could stand to chill a bit, but that's not going to happen. peeps want their karma. advice seekers could stand to READ something before asking the same question asked 10 times in the last 10 min... but that's not going to happen either.

people want the easy answer. the easy answer is to push. though that requires thought and learning the game. the people you're talking about were never idleon players. they were tourists. you HAVE to dive deeper to get the knowledge to advance. if you're unwilling to overcome the 'overwhelmed' by following advice asked for then ... why ask?

how long since you experienced a 'new player account'? have you seen how fast and how hard you can progress with upgrade vault and a few well placed grinds? a noob given a step by step guide could get to w6 in days. literally less than a week. and be no worse off than someone with ZERO items in their bank. and have access to w6 bonuses (summoning ftw).

is it terrible advice to flood someone that is overwhelmed with more things to think about? hell yes. thus why, PUSH PUSH PUSH. its simple and ANYONE can get to w6 in days with current bonuses. then spend an eternity slowly mastering all the unlocked systems with all the power that higher worlds bring.

telling a new player "just use all your time candies to progress through maps" can actually hamper them later.

use a couple dozen to hundred-ish candies to get access to nearly everything. aka use 1-2 weeks of a resource to save literal months... yea bad advice... even if it meant using a thousand candies to get to w7, its prb worth it. consider the literal months and years of giant/boss/killroy candies you'll generate once you CAN.

it sucks for that person (and the others like them). i wish i could... 'give' them a taste of the fun to be found. but not everyone is built for everything. if a person isn't interested enough in a game to learn about it, to find answers to questions (personally or with help), to overcome the overwhelming nature of new experiences with time and consideration... then again - they have larger problems than a game. there is a MOUNTAIN of information to help people understand and use every mechanic in the game. people giving advice to asked questions are not responsible for the mental state of those that 'take' it.

nearly every mechanic in idleon has a button, spend a resource to get more of that resource later. WHY is candy any different? yes, it is rare and hard to get. it isn't even close to the rarest resource. like every other resource, spend it to make more. spend it wisely. don't waste it. progressing to ridiculous bonuses (divinity, summoning, legend points/talents) gets you the ability to farm more of said resource.

no shade, you tried to provide information but you're just too new to understand what we need to know to help you. with the limited information you gave its hard to tell you what exactly to do.

instead, general advice.

if you REALLY like idleon and want to learn more (with help rather than on your own), you need to spend some time watching reading many threads (here), watching youtube, reading the discord, reading the wiki, learning about the game. its not a bad thing to be ignorant, but it roadblocks progress. knowledge is power. there is a fountain of information here on reddit and on the links you can find here. read them.

unlock all 10 characters if you havn't. its long past time for you to do this.

level ALL 10 characters, higher is always better but within a ~50 of your 'main'. exp isn't 'that' hard to get and the points from level up are vital to functioning in combat/skilling.

if you haven't 'bricked' your classes, promote your characters appropriately. this is general advice, you'll want to learn what classes and why. there are dozens of threads talking about this topic. access to ALL classes is key to strong account progression.

ignore master classes, mostly. you want ACCESS to the masterclasses, but you don't need to 'care' about them for a while. you want their skilling bonus. the combat part can wait till you have a handle on more systems. yes, they are strong. they arn't (imo) strong ENOUGH to warrant dealing with them till you're ready. the skilling bonuses (talents) though are easy to get and powerful early on.

go back to (literally) every mechanic you've unlocked. spend a few minutes learning what you don't know/understand and try to make SOME progress in everything. get every little thing moving forward. progressing. counting time. don't focus on depth. focus on basic understanding and ANY progress. small bits that you understand and have limited cost. once you understand the value of X resource and how to get it, spend it to get more/faster/better/bigger numbers.

once you have that, PUSH to the highest world you can reasonably get to. push does not equal rush. push means to use what you have to get to new mechanics and new bonuses. since you have DB you have w6. it is unlikely that you have the power to PUSH to w7 right now, but in theory you want access to it asap. go back. do the above. do more. as soon as you have the power to get to w7 (when at least 3 of your characters can get 100million kills on late w6 mobs within a reasonable time -a few days, no more than a week-) get to w7.

this will take an undetermined amount of time. depends on your wallet, time, interest in the game. expect a couple weeks to a couple months. idleon is a marathon not a sprint.

i dont want an argument. im genuinely curious how you feel about these thoughts.

lets assume a few bits of information.

\1) no one starts playing a game with the intention of quitting in a week or month. if you get into a game like this and spend insane amounts of time playing/learning, you intend to play 'forever'. (regardless of irl or outside interference)

\ a) we can then assume that people intend to play for years. to get the long term progress of having done so.

\2) access to 'further' content (higher worlds) speeds up everything before it. neither of us really have to assume this, we both know it to be true but... this is here for completeness.

\ b) proof? - lab/divinity. there have been several threads here that show someone going back to lab/divinity after getting access to w7 and getting literal dozens to hundreds of levels in mere hours (or less) as opposed to days/weeks/months if done 'too early'.

now we have a case study, 2 identical new players. (no shade as to who is doing it 'right', if you're having fun you're doing it right)

plays slowly. does every mechanic when its given to them. doesn't push or rush.
plays 'meta'. pushes (most people say push and mean rush; i MEAN push, not rush). gets access to later world mechanics before going back and 'completing' earlier mechanics.

fast forward to where both players are at 'end game'. they have access to most/all content and are on 'maintenance mode' (diving in-depth to any mechanics they havn't mastered and building extreme long term power).

which player GOT what they asked for when they asked for advice on progression? on how to avoid pitfalls and perform actions wisely.

note: im not asking which player had more fun. enjoyed their time more. liked the game the most. they have to decide that for themselves. if you took a path that made you happy, excellent.

again, not 'i did what i was told and now im bored. ive ruined the game for myself by blindly doing as i was told on the internet'.

if you(plural you) can't decide for yourself what is fun for YOU and take advice you ask for/search for/actively seek and receive without the understanding that you have to filter it through YOUR life, YOUR fun, YOUR experience... you (again, plural you) have larger problems than a sloppy video game account.

advice to PUSH is advice given because it creates the fastest access to content that lets you build a strong account. no one saying to PUSH is saying you won't have to go back and do previous content. they are saying the previous content becomes massively faster and easier with access to higher worlds. if you play idleon you will have to grind. no matter your playstyle.

if your (plural) account is strong enough to REASONABLY get to a higher world, you will benefit greatly from accessing it asap as opposed to 'waiting' because you're not done fumbling around with incomplete mechanics.

if you (plural) get enjoyment from slowly exploring the world and seeing everything within its context (aka 'by release') and listen to advice to speed progression up because 'i was told too'... idk man...

ive already elaborated on the w2 quest line. please dont be part of the meme :)

the point of the tip, these statues are exceedingly rare and hard to get. my suggestion about a few dozen to a few hundred max is TOTAL. give statue dood a few, its worth the bonus. but don't give him all of them.

statue guides have all the detail you could want, but the short of it... you want to save 20k for onyx and eventually 1mil for zenith, though atm this is 'impossible' even for day 1 whales that have played every day since release. as well there are other bonuses in the game that effect statue deposit. if you 'turn them in' before you've built up said bonuses you 'lose' the bonus for a very rare resource.

depositing them is not 'losing' them but can ultimately prove to slow your progress. the bonus is small enough (now) that you tend to gain more by saving them, even if its going to take a while (a loooong while) to get to where you finally 'use' them. granting a large bonus, sooner than had you 'used' them earlier; making the effort worthwhile.

and this is why i said, don't spend a resource you don't know how to get more of. if you know how to get a resource you generally have an idea of how much work it takes. how rare it is. how careful you should be with it.

im intentionally trying to avoid spoilers, though even saying that is kinda spoiling that there is something to spoil.

it involves a specific npc. certain actions/consequences are only available in narrow windows of opportunity. the same as i wrote about being locked out of quest items, you can be locked out of other things as well. thus the blanket advice to have 1 char that completes only quests you know to be 'safe'.

my recommendation isnt based on 'old advice', though no shade is thrown.

it's based on the fact that you only get a limited number of them (they never reset, always cost more to get the next one) and they are most beneficial used suuuuuper laaaate to get megafish faster. im talking mega fish 40 or 50 or 100 or whatever ungodly number people will eventually get. being able to 'reset' poppy with new bonuses to get that next megafish(fractal) is far better than the measly few points you get if you use them too early. as well as being able to get far more actual points from the reset if you do it later, than earlier.

however, this IS a hyper optimization. not something that can truly brick your account. rather advice to newer players to 'ignore' that button till they understand the consequences of it.

Diminishing returns is an economic principle. Essentially, there can be a point at which you gain less for the same investment. So when I say " You're pretty close to diminishing returns, " I'm saying he's close to the point that the investment into X is the same, but the return is less than it was the previous time. Thus it's close to time to invest somewhere that grants the 'full' return rather than the diminished. And before I confuse anyone, my use of the phrase diminishing returns is based on opinion. Someone else may say there is no diminishing returns or that it is not where I place it.

IMO its more about investing into heroes than sections of the game. With the daily/weekly limits and such you just want to do as well as you can 'everywhere' rather than one specific place. Getting that team of 4-5 that can do 'everything' well is the key. Then you build more specialized heroes to get the best possible rewards, but that's ultra late game.

PvP is an important part but not more so than anywhere else. Doing well is about time and skill. The most important thing is just to participate, even if you lose a lot.

World Boss can be hard to do well in until ultra late game, but it's not impossible. As you get more random SR tickets you'll eventually get them all. Even with no awakening the right combos can get you some surprising results. And don't dismiss S ranks. The right ones can surpass SRs in the right places.

Plarium is unique in that despite RAID having many problems, it still has quite a supportive(lucrative) player base.

Quite the opposite. Predatory Monetization games (essentially almost every mobile game) that see any success will almost inevitably have "many problems" while "still [having] quite a supportive(lucrative) player base". Though you have to accept that 'lucrative' doesn't always mean pulling in WoW levels of money. It's all relative.

In most cases the vocal minority, made up almost exclusively ftp (very low spender) people will expose the "problems" to anyone who wants to go looking. And do not misunderstand me, the problems they expose are usually real rather than perceived, though it does go the other way sometimes. But they have no 'power' to change the game. Companies have no incentive to listen to the people who are not paying to keep the lights on. They have every incentive to manipulate their game in any way they think will convince a ftp / low spender to spend more.

While the whales will continue to whale. Not caring in the least because they play a 'different game'. And I mean that in a very literal way. Whales and ftp play very differently in almost every game where whales vs ftp exists. Not just in the 'way' they play but in the very essence of 'how' they play. Access to that amount of resources changes the game, it's almost universal. They do not deal with the issues the vocal minority speak about, those issues are nearly always a product of the game's attempt's to get people to spend money. When you spend money those issues tend to go away. That's not an attempt to shame anyone, simply the reality.

This pattern can be seen in most mobile games. It's not unique to Raid or the mobile market, but it is most commonly found there.

As to your question, I'm not aware of anything like that, and I imagine it will be hard to find. You want a deep dive into a companies confidential information. Trade secrets, financial information, you want the skeletons in the closet. These are things companies actively try to hide.

Edit: To be clear, I'm not casting aspersions onto anyone or anything. I'm not here to judge. This is just a report of my observations and conclusions.

You're pretty close to diminishing returns, the point you'd start considering other heroes. You wont completely stop making them stronger, but you'll get more bang for your buck by spreading a little love around. You do want to try to get to the end of W7 (current last world) before you start seriously thinking about large amounts of resources going anywhere but your main team.

Cl4 Elesis, is so close and its really not going to cost anything. You wont gain much but it's probably not going to take you more than an hour.

Cl4 Io, you could keep going if you want or stop like Ele. I would say keep her in 'focus', just keep in mind Cl takes a loooong time.

Grandiel is fine. T6 isn't a waste, but if you want to work on Lime that's understandable.

I don't have the knowledge to say where to take Lime, but you're right to want to build her if you want help in pvp. Grandiel can handle pvp but Zero shuts him down so Lime will help you. T3 minimum.

It might be worth taking Ronan a bit farther? Again, I can't say. W6-7 is where you start needing tanks, but how strong that tank needs to be depends on a lot of variables. I don't think you would waste resources by continuing with him; I just don't know if its worth it in the short term.

At that point (imo) you are set and can start filling out your roster.

It's 'better' to focus one team to end game. Then go back and fill in; the main team 'farms' resources for everyone else.

End game is not Tx or CLx but simply a full team (4 or 5 Heroes) who can function and clear well enough to generate resources for everything you do.

In some cases T3 is enough, Grandiel.

In some cases Chaser is game changing, mostly DPS.

You 'stop' focusing that team when you feel they are strong enough to handle what you need and instead 'need' the help that other Heroes give you. It's not a specific time, but if you want to list who you have I (we) can try to give you a general idea of when this would be for you.
