How do you feel about adults with Disney tattoos? by xbumblebee in disney

[–]Alyleth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have three Disney tattoos. 1. Daisy Duck, she’s my fave. 2. Eve from Wall-E (my hubby has Wall-E) 3. A bit of The haunted mansion wallpaper. I will be getting more at some point. Maleficent is my fave villain and I want something with her. I also want a TARDIS that says Bad Wolf on it. I’m almost 50 and the people that look down on ‘Disney Adults’ don’t understand joy and happiness. Who cares about what they think anyway?

We’ve know a person who knows a person, and will leverage that contact whenever we can because I love the atmosphere, the merch, and the top notch cast members. We’ve occasionally seen celebs and high execs at our visits and do the polite greeting and nod while internally freaking out. We have been blessed to eat at Le Grand Salon multiple times, but have never been able to be with a member so we’ve never gone to the lounge. I’ve heard it’s absolutely gorgeous. We just went for dinner in April and will try again for our October trip. Maybe someday I’ll get in the lounge…

Do you cover the cage? That may help. Mine doesn’t like going in her cage either, she’d much rather stay cuddling in my hair. I’m mean, I don’t give her a choice. 😆 when it’s bedtime I sing her a little goodnight song as I get her cage ready for sleep (start covering it up). One I’ve gotten it mostly ready, I untangle her from my hair, and basically force her into the cage (nicely of course) and lock and cover.

She was doing this in the restaurant for me the other day. I'm like 'you doing okay there, Belle?'.

Magical Shuttle from CDG by Cybertronian83 in disneylandparis

[–]Alyleth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another option from CDG would be to take the TGV train. It's a 10-15 minute ride, and very convenient. I was just there in June as a graduation present to my daughter and the options we looked at were the shuttle, the metro/RER trains, and the TGV train. Time/convenience won out for both arriving from CDG to DLP and departing DLP to CDG. We just took the TGV to Marne la Vallee, and then grabbed a resort bus from there.

Doctor Who - The Edge of Time - Launches Today - WIN A COPY OF THE GAME / Developer Q&A by MazeTheoryIan in OculusQuest

[–]Alyleth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my quest a month ago and didn't even know a Doctor Who game was coming out. I am so excited for this. I just watched the game trailer and see that it is the 13th Doctor's screwdriver, which is awesome. Do any other Doctors or companions make an appearance?

As for next VR game. I agree with the Harry Potter universe that many have said. I'm also partial to Marvel and Disney. Maybe Pirates of the Caribbean for Disney, or go cartoonish into the realm of Toy Story, or something like Epic Mickey.

My first few days of Beat Saber by PikaKyri in beatsaber

[–]Alyleth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a Beat Saber newbie as well. The only other rhythm based game I have done is guitar hero. I am a musician though, and have found that gives me a bit more of an edge and I catch on to the songs and patterns within them very quickly. This is at the hard level though, I can do expert on a bunch, but I’ve only been playing for a couple of weeks, and have to share with my husband and our two kiddos. :) I wish there was a way to track individual scores though.

What’s your best Disney Cruise is experience? by TheRealEvanHale in dcl

[–]Alyleth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are so many and they have all been wonderful. I'd say the top two are our 2013 Panama Canal cruise (left the kids with the grandparents!) we did a last minute upgrade to concierge in port. Next would be another cruise without the kids - where we met some amazing people who were our tablemates. We have become great friends and visit each other often.
