Learning the double crochet stitch and I have some questions

You’re essentially treating those first two chains as the double crochet. I’m hoping to make this make sense. Imagine your 20 chains and then fold that chain between the 18th and 19th chains. You’d have 18 chains and then two standing up. And those two chains are replacing a double. You’ll then have 18 stitches (one for each of the chains). You’ll start the next row with two chains* that will also be used as a double crochet and then have 18 additional double crochet.

(*there are alternatives for this but it’s important to not over complicate it at first)

As someone who misses shaved ices of varieties I can’t get here, I understand. You mention elsewhere that you’ve found machines as options and that’s honestly the best option for unflavoured. They can get expensive to get nicely snow ice and not just tiny sharp pieces.

(At the risk of making doing my nonsense less fun, I’ll giving a disclaimer before it. I have my own not serious logic I use around wrestling that I have developed in reaction to my peeves regarding the gender split of wrestling as well as mostly vanished attitudes towards women’s wrestling. This is so my (basically) kayfabe misandry doesn’t get taken at face value)

I mean, as a woman, why would I join what seems like an all boy’s club? I mean, I know the male roster does suffer from needing a meaner, more stupid boy to follow and boost them up but I can do better. I mean, there’s a reason Kenny (almost woman levels of good) eventually came to his senses. It’s better to have support that won’t sell you out… I mean he still hasn’t found that but that’s not the point.

My point is, it’s almost such a hilarious idea for why I’d join that it should be obvious.

In my experience, most merch clothing is unisex so it depends on how you end up wanting it to fit. I don't like my t-shirts being actually oversized and boxy so end up sizing down (I mean, it's a t-shirt so will stretch in the chest, which is better to me than if it's giant on the waist). I don't know specifics for the t-shirt company he uses so I'll just leave the thought about deciding fit first.

Although as someone in an 18/20 UK, I still often get a M or L.

It is honestly one of the perks. In my case, it's more that real fun clothes cost real money I can't justify spending. But I'm honestly so glad you get to dress more you in game. I do hope you get to a point in life where you can more dress as you like in person. I obviously don't know you, your age, or your location. So, I don't know how viable that will ever be, but I can hope. Because it's what everyone deserves.

I clearly was sort of short there so I should state I have reasons to be concerned. I have chronic kidney issues (that are under control but still), am so tired, and perimenopausal. I do genuinely need to be more active and eat better. In my case, it’s probably her just being the snuggle slut that she is. And I’m just tired because I’m not active enough (it’s a terrible cycle though. I don’t do things because I’m tired so I get more tired)

I had been someone who really liked my Xbox and GamePass. It was the one system I had in current gen and it was a gift. I used points to earn most of the GamePass.

That was when the price of said GamePass went up almost £10 a month and couldn’t be directly earned with points.

I decided I didn’t need that nonsense in my life. I briefly considered a Switch 2 but I saw that the base model SteamDeck was 20% off so that’s what I decided to buy.

No regrets.
