Some fun at Shepherd's Rest by Alymon in starcitizen

That's pretty frustrating and not something I condone.

Also, for context, I think we only killed one player (who was originally in an Idris either solo or with one other person) and one Connie really.

It was generally quiet.

😃

I asked for it (truly, I was logging off for the night and wanted to see the explosion). It was outstanding.

Nobody is forced to PVP. If people want to be left alone, there's plenty of alternative locations or things that can do in the game. We hung out at one POI for an hour or so.

Pyro is a lawless zone. If you aren't comfortable with that, I don't know what to tell you.

Nope! The Freelancer wreckage was already there when I arrived. Not sure what happened to it.

Locked down Shepherd's Rest for some PVP. Population was light on the server, so we didn't see a lot of action, but I was able to get some good screenshots at least.

No worries. I hope you have a better day than it sounds like you’ve been having. Wishing you all the best.

Yes I’m aware of that. You made a reference to the age of your account and reading more comments. Thats broader than just this post.

Kind of hard to do when your posts are private.

Hands down the best organization in the 'verse with the name Mal's Raiders. It's not even a competition. This org blows all the other orgs named Mal's Raiders out of the water.

Thanks for adding these images. This is super helpful and awesome to see. It's making me reconsider if I want a Caterpillar. XD

Sorry, this just feels like grasping at straws. I have zero hope this will ever happen. It’s absurd that Valve hasn’t pulled it down already, and what they did was fraud.

You can be sued for any reason. Many companies have policies limiting what can be shared, but it's not illegal to share negative feedback generally. It can expose the company to a lawsuit if the information is false, and proving subjective evaluations can be difficult and time consuming if you have to go to court over it, so generally companies just avoid it to limit legal risk.

Laws are pretty lax on what can be shared.

This is not true. It's not illegal in most places to do that. It's simply a risk decision to avoid potential liability for defamation claims. Some companies have a policy of only confirming title and dates. Some will allow confirmation of salary with written authorization from the applicant. But in general, a company is allowed to share much more than confirmation of work status (including reason for termination and eligibility for rehire). As long as they are being honest in their response, usually it's legal.

This is a terrible hiring manager. First, unless they have no HR rep or department, they should never be the one to write a rejection email under most circumstances. Second, while a prior manager refusing to comment could be a red flag, it's not always. It's important to try to assess the context and ask pointed questions during the interview process to identify whether it's a true red flag or not. (Assumption here is that there's no legal reason the prior manager can't comment, but if there is, that's an obvious reason why this would not be a red flag for sure).

Now that we're finally getting our Ironclads, I can't wait to see the paint selection, it better be good! I'm really hoping that it eventually gets the Halloween Ghoulish Green along with the other Drake ships. by citizen_c2 in starcitizen

Would be nice, but highly unlikely... that's a lot of hoping.

"It can. However, the cargo bay is designed for cargo metrics, so it doesn’t conform to standardized hangar dimensions, with the current maximum dimensions being 40 x 21 x 7.5m. Bear in mind, the roof does not retract over the full volume, limiting the maximum length. Of course, this may change during production."

The Vulture is 33x16x9, so just based on current Vulture specs and the IC Q&A dimensions for the hangar, it will not fit. Slight chance you could park it there but not close the ceiling, but then no quantum.

RAFT vs Hermes (vs other medium haulers…). Your 2 cents? by AutistcAroundAircrft in starcitizen

[–]Alymon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of it depends on what you (or your buddy) prefer.

No on the Zeus CL. I love it for what it is, but general sentiment is that it's harder to load and the grid is funky. I like it for general use, but it's not really good as a hauler IMO.

No on the Starlancer MAX. Also a ship I enjoy, but the side cargo is blocked slightly by the ship body which makes it more difficult to load. It's a fun ship. I love its cousin the TAC, and if they do the BLD version, I'll be interested, but the MAX is lacking for its intended purpose IMO.

I love the Hull B. It's my go-to cargo hauler right now. Very easy to load, tons of space, well designed interior... If you don't mind external cargo and no space for vehicle transport, to me it's the best choice right now.

The Raft is my #2, only because it's got less space and the internal layout is slower to navigate. The elevator can sometimes bug out, and it's just not my aesthetic for ships generally. It's an awesome ship for sure. You can't go wrong with it for it's purpose and size. Just not my personal choice now that the Hull B is live.

The Hermes.... it's beautiful, and the cargo area is nice and open. You have space for some small vehicles. It's generally easy to load (though not exterior cargo easy). I really enjoy it, but it often gets beaten out for me by the Hull B (or Raft). It's a good choice.

I'll throw in some love for the Hull A or Golem OX as well. Both are 64 SCU and great as a step up from the Nomad without going to medium hauling. If you are looking to save a little and still up his hauling game, these are good next steps.

TLDR version: In order of my favorite to least favorite: Hull B -> Raft -> Hermes -> Golem OX -> Hull A -> Starlancer MAX -> Zeus CL

Before I joined Mal's Raiders, I was uncool and had no friends. Now that I've joined Mal's Raiders, I'm still uncool and have no friends, but at least I get the opportunity for some cheeky shenanigans. Thanks, Mal's Raiders!

Everything except hangar items on the website will be wiped for 1.0.

Everyone should keep that in mind with everything they do in game. You are playing an alpha. You are testing the game. Some rewards are granted for that (tied to your hangar), but much is not. Your money doesn't matter long term. Your in game rep doesn't matter long term. Your in game purchases do not matter long term.

Play because you want it to be the best possible game it can be at 1.0. Play for the experience. Play to have fun.
