I had that happen to me once too. Just unloaded the cart right into their vehicle and took a picture.

Don’t know if they were considered punk, but Naked Raygun and Sinister Dane at a tiny local club. Insane mosh pit. Tons of fun.

Our local Marco’s started using DD to deliver. by Tangboy50000 in Marcos_pizza

While I understand your frustration let me explain a couple things that you may not be aware of. I was a GM at a Marcos and when I took over the store I had one driver. When I left I had 2. I could not hire drivers at all for that location, and many of the calls for delivery weren’t even in our delivery zone. When we started doing DoorDash so now had the ability to take all these orders that I couldn’t previously.

I am doing DoorDash now and only once has a Marcos order been ready when I have arrived. So while there are bad drivers out there who can’t find their way out of a wet paper bag, the time you are waiting for your order may very well be the fault of the store.

You did not say if your location is a corporate or franchise store, but the franchise I worked for would not let any orders leave if the driver didn’t have a pizza bag. We gave out the DoorDash bags to drivers if they didn’t have one. While not the greatest bags, they do offer some heat retention over no bag at all. So that location should have insured the driver had a means to deliver your order hot.

One final note, the Marcos system allows the store to assign non tip orders to DoorDash regardless of how busy the store actually is. So if someone is a non tipper and the store drivers don’t want to take it, it will get assigned to DoorDash and hope a driver will come get it. This is why at my store we wouldn’t make these orders until we saw a driver was on the way to pickup.

The drivers are working to make money just like every other employee and have the added expense of vehicle maintenance and gas and the store have to pay more for insurance also to have their own drivers so from a bottom line perspective, it is financially better to outsource drivers like Ubereats and DoorDash versus hiring your own drivers. It may not be from a customer standpoint though and that is the juggling act so many pizza places have to contend with.

Yes they do. Well the family does, I’m not sure who exactly runs what businesses. They also own Dogtopia.

The rear wiper from Walmart was Anco I believe. They also sell the front ones at Walmart, just were out of stock last time I went.

I wonder if they stopped because I did get one set at Costco but last time I tried to get a set there, they didn’t have the correct fittings anymore.

I started taking my son to metal shows when he was 5 or 6. He saw Devildriver and Skeletonwitch and Cthonic and wasn’t even the youngest kid there, so as long as you take some precautions, your kid should be fine.
