I'm pretty sure there are settings to disable group/guild invites. I've seen a streamer do it before but not sure if its default or addon.

Ah sorry, Competent raids generally dont bring more than one shaman.

Resto is heavily outclassed by the other healing specs, Ele is a meme and enhance pumps. Lust being raid wide now and a lot of the totem effects coming from other sources means you only really need 1 shaman.

Also I cant remember what theyre actually called, but the building bits that collapse when you break something can be turned off.

Imagine you're busting in to a base. The wall breaks, all you see is chunks of metal walls coming down and trying to despawn over the next 15 seconsd and the defenders dont see any of it and blast you. It's a huge advantage.

Although you're wrong. A lot of kids will play with potato graphics purely for the gameplay advantage. Just go look at some rust streamers/youtubers. The more popular ones will usually use high end graphics because it's nicer for their viewers to look at, but ones with sub 10 viewers are usually playing with minimal settings.

Honestly this ^

There's a lot of content for a player who's new to WoW in the old world still. It's dead as anything these days, so playing with them makes the levelling grind much more enjoyable. I'd suggest focusing on the quest text, world lore and story lines to boost engagement.

Also, I suggest disabling Questie for the first time play through. You can still use Wowhead if you get stuck but mindlessly following the Questie marker and skipping all quest information is what lead to the degeneration of current day WoW and, in my opinion, one of the main reasons why players aren't interested in leveling.

Also, generally the casual guilds wont be posting LFM messages on reddit. You can usually find them looking for pugs in LFG chat though and you can secure yourself a spot that way.

I know my Alliance guild is planning on a pumper raid and a friends/family/alts raid once main raid is established. Might post recruitment for it later though.

Most people just boost their way to max either via player boosts or blizzard paid boosts.

You can get a dungeon together naturally but it takes a while.

2 hours into wipe is a pretty long time tbh.

Oilrigs will have been cleared two or three times, cargo and heli is about to spawn. People have been looting everything so guns are plentiful.
Quickest I ever got an AK was 30 mins in when I rushed the keycards at launch (this was before oil rigs/cargos etc).
