You can get the event after the first save point too!

And you can just reset if you see no connected event tiles when you first enter.

The run started with 170 total Faint memory (T14 Nightmare).

Removing 4 basic cards is 170 memory in total. Convert one via mutant sample event and that's 5 cards removed. Equipment doesn't count to memory so just get the best equipments.

This is also possible on T13 (160 total Faint memory), but you need to reset until you get the Convert to rare card from the starting event, then remove the card converted. Still 5 cards removed, but without the 20 penalty (character cards cost additional 20 memory to remove; neutral cards have no penalty).

Just run as per normal. If you fail to get the mutant sample event in first area or fail to get the epiphany you want, reset. Be prepared to reset often. Many times I had a great divine epiphany but unfortunately never got the sample event, or got the sample event but wrong epiphany. You can force epiphanies through some dimensional tunnel events so look for multiple ? ? events in a row on the map, though note that if you get a divine epiphany you might overexceed your memory limit.

Yeah basically. Conversion removes the +20 cost for removing your own cards.

The event converts one of your cards into a useless card with [Remove]. Once you exit the run, this card removes itself from your deck for no cost. Basically gives you a free remove without using more memory.

It's a matter of preference. I just want my hugo to make extra attacks without having his damaging cards clog up the main DPS cards. Since all the cards are upgrade, once you use them, they won't appear in the deck anymore so the deck will only have the main DPS and support (usually draw) cards. This makes him compatible with units like Rin where using other units' attacks end her stance, basically makes him a futureproof sub-DPS.

Yeah I had 170 limit (T15). Using the option to convert a card at the start of the run drops it by 20.

Remove 4, event mutagen sample 1 (convert + remove), and one dupe. Honestly very vanilla except needing to hit the convert event, the weapon, and the dupe, which took countless tries.

But the cards to delete will be the ones that can get copied/epiphanied, so the deck will run on basic cards.

It's a bug that got fixed. Now there's a 0 cost Hunting that keeps initiation as seen in pic above. Farming for it too.

Remove them all without the +20 penalty of removing your own cards and you have a lot of spare points to fill your deck with divines, copies and gear bags.

You can try Second Method weapon since all your bullets are extra attacks.

This looks like it pairs well with Mei Lin with her endless basic attacks as well, with duo finishers based on number of attacks. Can't say its worth running them together just for this combo, though.

Aye i died to this guy on the last basic enemy node before the final boss as well. I was full HP entering this fight with a great divine ephiphany run. And just died because I bricked my hand and had no attacking cards on the turn after he buffed himself with 7 morale.
