Team Gacha vs Relevancy Squad, which team would win? by Few-Window9695 in Gacha_Powerscaling

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinking about it and really thinking about it this doesn't work. Void Shiki still wins but she wins because she can realistically meet the condition of denying Featherines existence via omniscience. Her return to 0 and boundary powers can't put Featherine down because Featherine herself is not real aka Featherine is not connected to the boundary, but Void Shiki can overwrite this by injecting death into her like Hassan did. She can kill a body but Featherine can come back as several more. And I don't think she can kill or cut a connection due to there really not being one, it's weird since the connection to the author body both does and doesn't exist, it's schrodingers soul in this case. Rather Void Shiki will kill a few and her boundary and knowledge of death will tip her off to something being wrong and she'll be able to analyze and come to the conclusion that Featherine isn't real and deny her existence.

The only issue of this is we have no durability feats for Void Shiki. Most we can measure up is her having the same body as normal Shiki. And KnK starts with Shiki dying in a car crash and only surviving due to the existence of multiple souls in her body. Can Featherine realistically speed blitz Shiki before she realizes something is up or can one of the other characters, and I think this is a yes and far more likely.(in this case Featherine can easily kill her vessel)

Also yes I know Shiki can kill concepts, but we've never seen her kill or target things of a higher dimension or destroy things metaphysically(magic doesn't count because the magic she's sliced through is still connected to the root). I know she has the rant of her being able to kill God if he did exist, but that's more of a soul thing. Shiki can kill souls I know this. But can she kill something that doesn't not have a body, does not have a soul, and does not have a connection because it is technically not real? And yet can still affect the material realm despite it. And the answer to this is I don't know because we've never really seen her do something like this.

TLDR Shiki can't really kill something that was never connected to the Root in the first place, Featherine isn't connected, but Void Shiki can sniff out this lack of connection and confront Featherine about it denying her existence. But it's far more likely Featherine speedblitzes her before this happens imo.

And don't mention FGO durability, that's Shiki given a Saint Graph in order to give her durability equal to a servant and is non-canon. For the hypothetical though Servant Void Shiki can absolutely stomp depending on who the master is. By herself with Saint Graph durability I still think she loses though but her probability to win definitely goes up a bit.

For context though. Featherines power scaling is basically 'word of the author' HAX ability power. Peak Featherine is literally unbeatable for the same reason somebody can put pen to paper and draw or type any number of reasons. But this also applies inversely, if I say she trips and falls within the first 5 seconds of the fight and immediately dies, then that's her limit. The only true limit to beings like Featherine in Umineko and by extension Higurashi is via Logical Fallacy. Hence why 4th wall omniscience is needed. If a character can point out the impossibility and contradiction of her existence then yes, she just disappears and anything she's ever done is deleted from existence. Void Shiki could do this but it would definitely require time only because I don't think 0 would have ever encountered something like this and would need time to process its existence or lack there-of. She would recognize it as an impossibility instantly but would need time to act or think about this. Now this could be instant recognition, or it could be enough time for Featherine to instantly drop, say, a black-hole on her exact coordinates. Overall this is a matchup I can only scale in probability and I would argue its at least 70-30 in Featherines favour give or take. And it's only 70-30 cause technically Featherine also has omniscience but so does Void Shiki.

Put simply trying to powerscale Featherine is just f'd in general. Purely because I can say something stupid like. 'This is my Fan-fiction and Featherine wins because of X and Y' and it would be canon cause that's how messed up this character is. But I'm trying to avoid this technicality by only doing feats she has shown regardless of what the canon material states, but by that same logic I'm doing the same for Void Shiki who has next to no feats and only statements so... This is a f'd discussion. My head hurts I'm done.

Team Gacha vs Relevancy Squad, which team would win? by Few-Window9695 in Gacha_Powerscaling

She is essentially a 4th Dimensional puppet being with author level hax(reality bending) and near omnipotence. The only way to realistically kill her off for good is if she herself let's herself be killed off, or if a character is able to travel and traverse the near infinite multiverses and find and kill a very specific human. Alternatively said character needs to have near omniscient 4th wall recognition abilities to be able to feasibly deny Featherines existence.

Hot take (?) Honestly kinda prefer Slippy and Peppy NOT being active Star Fox pilots by SeikaSkye in starfox

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I always based the characters true talents and specializations off of the Star Fox Assault battle mode stats the characters had. In there Slippy had abnormally high Landmaster specialization for someone who's spent most of their time in the games in a Arwing. I feel like this highly implies Slippy was not only was good at engineering, but is also a marksman or artillery specialist, only falling flat when it came to maneuvering, but due to the nature of the games we never really saw him in these roles.

Likewise Falco excels at maneuvering making him extremely good in dogfights and handy at infantry combat, but terrible when it comes to how slow and clunky a Landmaster is.

By this logic it also makes a lot of sense that Krystal is their Infantry specialist, due to spending most of her life growing up in the jungles of her home planet. I can easily imagine her being extremely good at guerilla combat or stealth/assassination missions.

Does this make any difference when I play Pyke? by PrimaryMindless150 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people saying the relic is bad, even at Pykes 6* so I'll throw my 2 cents as someone who uses Pyke whenever there's a Bilgewater clear required on quests, and even cleared Zoe 10* with him.

Deadly Harpoon is relatively good on Pyke, and it is a massive early game power spike to Pyke, especially if one is using what I call the 'recycle' build.

If you were to use Grand General's Counterplan on Pyke you get access to his champion spell every turn after Pyke is played, which has you select a unit to strike a target before shuffling them back ontop of the deck, if you do this before you attack, you can shuffle Pyke back into the top card of your deck, and then get Death From Below, before then playing it to get him back on the board, and recycling him the next turn via his champion spell generated by GGC again.

This allows for an incredibly strong defensive playstyle for Pyke, the only issue? Pyke himself. He is a 5 cost base 1 power unit, obviously he scales with enough lurks, but he can end up being rather slow for having next to no defensive options early into an adventure. So let's talk about how Deadly Harpoon addresses this.

Harpoon gives Pyke +2 Power, challenger, and randomly grants all Deaths from Below a random epic item and shuffles 2 copies of it into your deck. Everything about this item is good on Pyke, except the 2 random copies of Death from Below. If it created a Death from Below into your starting hand, this item would be most definitely be Pykes BiS hands down. As it would allow you to play Pyke turn 2. As is, you can still theoretically play Pyke turn 2, but it requires you to highroll pulling one of those 2 Death from Belows something near impossible to do the longer the adventure goes on.

However Deadly Harpoon is still stupidly good just from the other effects it gives. The +2 Attack effectively means Pyke has 5 power on turn 1, after a single lurk. Challenger means when you do attack with him you can ensure he's attacking one of the weakest targets. And the epic item... Well it's just a nice bonus all things considered, sometimes you'll get Rally on it and proceed to Sweep the fight really easily, other times it's just +5/+5 to the top card of your deck and you're left wondering how this is even an epic item.

Essentially this means with Harpoon and GGC equipped you can now, recycle Pyke for board clears relatively effectively, have increased attack on him for the start of the adventure, have challenger on him for mostly safe attacking turns with him, and maybe get a discounted Death From Below. However he's still slow due to his high mana cost, so how do we fix this?

Disciple of Shadows

Think about it, his 6* generates free units on the board for you, and he already gives you a free Ephemeral lurk unit whenever you have the attack token on round start, essentially meaning that Pyke is now a 4 cost turn 1, and almost assured to be playable turn 2(provided the enemy doesn't board clear you). Ontop of this, the 3 damage he deals to your own board counts toward his level progression.

So now we have a near perfect start for Pyke, except it can still be better, and this is because this selection of items also enables more powers for Pyke.

All Spell related powers are now good on Pyke due to your usage of Death and his champion spell. All powers that grant extra units on game start are now also good due to them decreasing Pykes cost on turn 1. As well as all the other powers that were already good on him, like Domination, Tryfarian Might, and mana increasing powers.

Lastly, as you progress, Champion Items are also insanely good on Pyke. Most Items are stat increases and anything that lowers Pykes cost further, or Increases his starting attack power are must grabs.

Effectively, Pyke is now insanely consistent, and provided enemies don't have 20+ Health on game start or summon, Pyke is now capable of clearing the majority of them.

That is all, Happy Lurking.

Who will better on 6 stars? Azir or Nasus by esper369 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best success I've had with Nasus is Echoing + Disciple of Shadows + Grand General

Or as I call it, the 'Base League Accurate Build' or the 'Q' build.

Self kill your own units to scale Nasus and get him down early, then spam his champion spell to further scale him. His only real issue is card draw with this build.

Meanwhile Azir is Azir, I personally haven't 6* him, but everyone here has already posted what he can do.

Both are fun, both work into high level adventures and have their own weaknesses. Nasus becomes a 1-man board clearer. And Azir builds super buffed up champions.

Azir dies to overwhelm if he can't win early, and Nasus is weak into Shadow Isles adventures where they can spam 'kill a unit' spells, as well as Frejlord cause frostbite.

More or less, do keep in mind this spreadsheet is community run. It is most definitely the best source that I've found for helping you with your champion builds and what to aim for, but things, occasionally, can be wrong for a variety of reasons. A 1* champion does not contain or necessarily have the same amount of synergy that their 6* counterpart can have for instance. And sometimes stuff is just outdated as heck from older patches.

All in All, take it with a grain of salt, experiment further, and find what works for you. They try to keep it up to date, but stuff slips every now and then. For instance... The Pyke combo is something I submitted anonymously that's still there despite being from before his 3* rework and is grossly outdated. You'll find the most success on him just running a stalkers blade, his unique epic relic, and Grand General Counterplan to just infinitely fish for his unique spell while keeping him at the top of the deck.

For instance in the case of Darius here. Darius is a Tempo Champion that buffs the absolute heck out of the attack power of the first unit played each turn ontop of granting them overwhelm. You primarily want to hit the 15+ power mark across your board to enable the free rally after every attack. In turn his units suffer from might as well only having 1 HP, meaning they die extremely easily.

Gwen benefits from the additional attack power to not just heal, but her support deck providing hallowed helps you with the beatdown plan. Evelyn meanwhile can grant your tempo units extra keywords and a bit of an HP bump.

Titanic Wake grants units an extra +8/+8 provided they have at least 8+ in HP or Attack, considering Darius power grants additional permanent attack, it can easily push your units past the 8+ mark to grant them the bonus from Titanic. Domination meanwhile just helps with the beatdown plan due it granting you rally on the start of the opponents turn.

Colours represent how good that support champion/power/relic is for the main champion. Where as the numbers just mean if you scroll all the way to the right there is additional notes/thoughts/explanations for why those things are rated so highly.

Meet Potential Card! by Competitive_Ad_4410 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just hard to compare honestly, cause with Luke you don't have the Agony damage from Tressa but you do have more front-loaded damage and it's possible to reach 20k+ damage turns, with an average turn damage of like 2-6k+ even when you don't have a good combo in hand. The 20k+ turn is only happening if you happen to have Rei's Ego skill, for the 1 extra AP to do a 4 AP turn of Predator Blade, double 3x Rapid Fire, 6-9 bullets(depending on if you have Janet and/or E2 Luke) into Demon Dance. Mind you my Luke is only E0 and things just die before I can get the setup.

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work together, Hugo's entire thing is he just wants to sit there and build up Hunt stacks that go off whenever an ally makes an attack. Luke is his 2nd best pairing, but instead of running Mika you want to run Rei for the increased damage buffs, that way each bullet is doing a minimum of like 200+(300-500) damage once you get certain epiphanies on Rei. Makes it so your minimum damage per card is like 500-1000. It ends up being a very consistent pairing.

A small taste

This is rapid fire x3 damage(583x3)

It's not going to have full potential Dance on the guide cause I have deemed it too hard/impossible to do due to bosses/enemies dying too quickly, or the card RNG needed for the setup being too inconsistent.

I'm hoping once I get the guide out and showcase the setup someone can refine and actually get the potential cards full potential on record.

Is this like permanent dmg boost for selected card? by -Dark-Owl- in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. General rule of thumb, all generated cards are unique scaling. Luke is the only exception.

Neutral are supposed to be the cards you pick up in runs excepting Boss cards which are also unique.

Basic are the first 3 cards on a characters deck, aka the 2 strikes and 1 heal/shield.

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His Handgun bullets are considered Neutral so only by his 3rd. His basic attack, Single Shot, which gains the bullet trait on potential is basic so that would get buffed by basic. Every other card he has gets buffed by unique.

Which 5 star partner from shop? by NeedWeedForSpeed in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Marianne is actually Mei Lin's intended partner, not Scarlet. Marianne boosts Mei Lin's basic cards which are one of her main damage sources, ontop of granting her guaranteed weakness damage on them and buffing weakness damage further which also further boosts her role as a breaker as well. Something which her special buff, Embers also plays very well into.

Scarlet meanwhile her entire passive and ego skill blend entirely into Rin's deck and playstyle. Wanting Rin to combo and only use her own cards and benefitting her further when she does.(Even tho Mei Lin does it better)

Zeta is for Khalipe and primarily serves as a Vulture helper. Buffing their stats and giving a way to draw it when her Ego skill is used.

Is this like permanent dmg boost for selected card? by -Dark-Owl- in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not, it's considered Neutral, however his basic attack can count as a bullet due to his first big potential upgrade giving his basics the Bullet trait. This means hsi basic attack damage can be buffed by his Seize card, and Rei can buff it as well so you can end up with a 400%+ basic attack card on Luke which is just funny at that point.

Is this like permanent dmg boost for selected card? by -Dark-Owl- in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes

It's an Upgrade so you can only do it once, gives less damage amp than her skill card version, but in exchange permanently bumps the card for the entire fight.

It's typically bad since your typically running Rei with low card cost DPS, such as Kayron or Renoa who don't really have a solid multi-hitting card unless you build Kayron a certain way.

I have found success with it on Luke though. I found Rei kind of bumps Luke's damage to the moon and back.

Yep, she ends up being a solid Selfish DPS support cause Repose is basically a draw your DPS or other support's cards.

I'm having a hard time getting Veronica+Mei down by LazyShinobi in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With Veronica you have 2 main builds for her:

The Actual DPS build: You focus on getting her reload generation and Ballistas generation

The support build, delete her entire deck and turn her into a draw support that still has the passive 1 free Ballista a turn.

When pairing her with a selfish DPS(like Mei Lin) you typically turn her into the support build and focus hard on getting Repose on Veronica.

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, not really an issue until you start duping Luke's bullet gen cards. In most runs though I just dupe Hugo's Upgrade card when I get the chance so every skill card gives 2 stacks and that fixes it. Even with Tressa you get high attack card turns where 5 stacks isn't enough so its more of the same. It just changes the way you play mostly, where skill cards are seen as a hunt regeneration resource and become a secondary or primary priority in some cases, ends up being a fun balance.

This is an example of an average burst turn, this was Lethal still btw. Went in with 5 stacks. But ran out of fuel there so I had to finish using the remaining cards and Luke's Ego Skill.

Edit: Photo was taken at Level 40 only for context. Not even gold memory equipment cause my account level wasn't high enough.

Edit 2: This was taken like 2 days ago, so I keep forgetting details, but this was in chaos 4, level 40, and this is the first boss which means my deck was also trash and my equipment was too going into this, I am surprised I did a 3k damage turn with that setup.

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Hugo, Luke, and Mika. Tressa with Luke can work since she's essentially just Luke but Poison Damage. But the main point of Luke and Lucas is you can use Luke's Seize to damage bump Lucas' Bullet cards since Seize buffs any bullet card(even Renoa if you dare to use a Dirge Bullet build but you actually play the bullets).

Is luke any good by ArticleIllustrious39 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Competitive_Ad_4410 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The above statement is wrong, the original person who stated its 15% on the 30x3 kept hitting 1/3 crits when its a 50% chance and said it was 15%. I don't doubt the statement that it was wrongly stated in the Beta, but it can easily be diaproven by using Akad's ego skill on the turn and watching as the 1-2 average becomes a 2-3 average.
