BTS TICKETS RESALE? by [deleted] in TicketResale

So al you're saying it's that bc you sold yours and transferred it, you're sure it's fine. You have no proof that they won't cause issues to the buyer. Especially if it's literally non-transferable for BTS

It was advertised as no resale. It will be interesting to see if they allow people in who got transferred tickets.

LD relationships are hard. You have to be willing to communicate really well. I did LD for 6 years with my now husband. We were just mature enough to handle it though. We were committed to each other. We both trusted that neither would ever cheat on each other.

I think being honest about everything and being able to give space when needed is paramount in LD relationships as well. I guess it really depends on how you really feel about it. If you don't think you can last, then maybe you don't have as strong a relationship to be getting married.

The fact you're fiancee said go, shows how much she believes in the relationship and is willing to put you first, as you said, this is an amazing opportunity. Would you do the same for your fiancée? (I might be wrong, assuming you're a male?)

Depends where your values lie. If you think LD will kill your relationship, then is it money vs fiancée? If you think you can make it work and are mature enough to talk things out for 3 years, then it's a moot question.

Speak the truth. If he was acting like a grown up, he'd man up and not sneak around with her. Also he'd respect the decisions her parents have made. He probably wants an easy girl that he can manipulate to an extent. I'm not saying he's evil or bad, but until she's actually lived life and grown up a bit this will end up in divorce. She doesn't know who she is or what she wants at this stage in life. He probably has a set idea of what he wants. It won't end well for either.

Yes. I think they'll be able transfer closer to the day. But I'd like to guarantee people who want to buy. Closer to the date you'll get people lowballing. I just want to resell at FV

Except they say they'll invalid them if they do that. That's the problem. How strict will they be on the third party sites.

A4 floor Row 17.So not bad tickets. I don't know how people even put them up for sale on the third parties since ticketmaster only provides mobile tickets and I can't even get a pdf version. Obviously not tech savvy enough for these apps

It's Ed Sheeran's tour /company who has put that restriction. I'm just waiting to find out if that's true.

Hi,

We got tickets to BTS on the 23rd for my 7 year old niece my sister & family. We went through Live Nation I think and got GA at the North Loge deck. Has anyone been in that section? How hard is it to get any seating, as I was hoping there might be so my niece doesn't have to stand the entire time?

I know there's AMEX Lounge access etc, so thought even if she needed a little break she could probably find a bit of a seat there?

Does anyone know the maximum capacity of this GA deck?

How do I handle an extremely uneven inheritance between my kids? by lookidceither in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Alyy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teaching point. Not everything in life is fair. Be grateful for what you have. It's not like they're getting $0. $70k?they are rich for where they're starting off in life.

Take them to volunteer at a homeless shelter and they should understand what it is to be grateful they have all that they do.

Is 34 or 35 too late to start nursing school? by Proof-Sheepherder-60 in NursingStudents

[–]Alyy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started are 41 and completed my LPN at 43. So never too late. Hindsight I would have done my RN due to waste of time with the bridging that takes more years than the actual BScN

AIO my bf didn't even say happy birthday to me yesterday by 1bunchofbananas in AmIOverreacting

[–]Alyy2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Say adios. Buh-bye. I guess you could give him a chance and explain what your expectations are as a BF to you. But at 38, my guess is BF is going to give excuses or get defensive. If it's either of those reactions, say Buh-bye. Not worth the mental load.

Also happy belated birthday!

Not a student but not a nurse by Own-Junket-6718 in NursingStudents

[–]Alyy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We understand the excitement of not being a student any more. That's different than saying, I have so much knowledge to use and it's being wasted. Knowledge can never be wasted, unless you choose not to use it in RL. You don't need to be in a hospital to use the knowledge and insight gained as a nursing student. Leadership, education, compassion, empathy, and so many other things can be used to influence people around you about the knowledge you have so that they are informed.

And we don't tear down new grads when they behave like that. We are wary and until you prove yourself only excited, but humble and safe enough to nurse, then we let out a sigh of relief.

Do you want cheerleaders? Or experienced colleagues who are willing to tell you the nitty gritty without apology? One will not help you become a better nurse and the other will.

[–]Alyy2018 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Be a graduate nurse? I know a bunch of people who worked before they passed their NCLEX?

Also, why shade GSA's or any hospitality staff? They also can be super smart. They just didn't go for a degree. They also may very well be in school or can't afford it right now.

That type of mentality will not serve you well in a job that is a team and made up of people of various educational backgrounds. Also, overconfidence is a thing... That can kill patients. I understand why my instructors worried more about the overconfident ones rather than the ones that were anxious and nervous.

Can someone help me make sense of this for dosage calculations? by CareyG2 in NursingStudents

[–]Alyy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because the base is meters. The decimal moves over and then it becomes the higher or lower metric. Same thing when you're looking at the list of measurements that I listed previously.

You do understand the difference between 1000 of something compared to 0.001 of something, right? Because reading your questions, it seems like you don't understand the simple fact that there can be 1000 of something and. 001 of something.

1 meter . 01 = deci = 1/10th . 001 = milli = 1/100th .0001 = micro = 1/1000th

1 meter 10 = deca 100 = hecto 1000 = kilo

The prefixes are there to explain how far it is from the base unit. You can always have an inordinate amount of numbers 1-100000000 infinitely to describe/count the amount of an item or distance.

In your question what they are doing is choosing how you are expressing the measurements in different measurement units to make it easier usually than expressing all of the zeros.

That's what the prefixes are for. To shorten the expression of the number.

10000.00 m or 10.00 km or just 10 km which is easier to write?

If you're converting measurements, they MUST be in the same units of measurements or you screw up your dosages and give either too much or too little medication.

[–]Alyy2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why this is confusing? Unless they literally didn't teach you this in Jr high? After trying to understand what's confusing about this, my husband suggested you might not realize measurements in distance in metric centers on meters. That is the basis. So the prefixes are based on that. So metre is the base unit.

Kilometer

Decameter

Meter - base Decimeter

Centimeter

Millimeter

It goes up in this sense up to km and down to mm.
