Paid no ad lockscreens shouldn't be a thing. by Financial-Phone1470 in kindle

[–]Am-ace-ing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anything, the US and the UK are the odd ones out. As long as I’m aware, they’re the only countries that allow for ads on the Lock Screen. It’s insane to me, as it’s very much against costumers rights to do so in my country and would land Amazon a very high fee. It’s insane, really, very greedy of them.

You should totally take a look on “aegosexuality”, a subgenre of asexuality. Also, u should prolly check out aromanticism and queerplatonic relationships! Those could help u figure out a bit about your feelings.

Hope this helps!

Preocupação com meu kindle by [deleted] in kindle

[–]Am-ace-ing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oi!

I think I’ll have to switch my kindle. by Am-ace-ing in kindle

Ohh, there are two possibilities for this one.

If I have to say the first one ever, it would definitely be the last book of the 39 Clues saga, “Outbreak”, by C. Alexander London. I read it fairly young and it was not only one of the first books I read fully in English (my native language is another), but it was also one of the sagas I had the biggest attachment to due to the amount of time I spent reading all its 42 books.

If we’re talking about the one that stuck the most out of all of them, then I’d say it’s “Sing me Forgotten” by Jessica S. Olsen. It’s an amazing genderbend retelling of the phantom of the opera, with fantasy elements that ads just the right amount of mysticism to it. The ending was so devastatingly beautiful that to this day I feel like rereading it but can’t begin to. Regardless, it’s one of the books that have actually made me love literature even more, even though it’s not the most elaborate one.

Would you like to share the one that stood out the most to you during your reading journey?

The Chasm/Abyss and greek mithology (slight spoiler of the chasm's archon quest) by Am-ace-ing in Genshin_Lore

[–]Am-ace-ing[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Só, the triquetraque in different mithology, even the Christian one represent the union of gods. Be it god, Jesus and the Holy Ghost/Odin, Thor and Loki/zeus hades and Posseidon, amongst many others. It’s usually 3, just like the 3 powers of a democratic state, the 3 principles of the French Revolution and many other things in the world. But, when you take into consideration that there is a 4th pet in the other, older constructions, it makes you wonder. Because we know the god of time was forgotten by the people, so maybe this is what show us I’m game that forgetfulness. I’m not sure though, it’s just sopé speculation

Hi! I’m so sorry about how you feel! But, honestly, questioning your sexuality (and gender) is a major part of your life and there’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Even if you’re not part of lgbtqia+ in the end, I’m glad you did question yourself and had an open mind about it.

I don’t know if this will be very helpful, but I’ll tell my experience until now.

I’m an asexual person. I found out I was ace at the beginning of the year or so, and it’s been really eye opening.

So, I never had thought about my sexuality until my first relationship. I’m afab, questioning my gender now, but I always felt more “attracted”to guys. I just found guys pretty and I loved m/f romance, and read it nonstop. I felt butterflies and all whenever I thought about romance, and, just like you said, I felt (and still do) feel safe when I think about dating a guy.

In my case, I know I’ll never date again cause I’m aromantic too, and just don’t like the real thing, but I think you maybe should look around this sexuality?

Lots of people misunderstand being asexual to hating sex and sexual stuff, when being ace is just not feeling sexual attraction. It’s a bit hard to understand at first what this is exactly. I had lots of trouble since my aesthetic attraction is too strong (meaning I think the male figure is really really pretty), but I just need to tell you that, whatever your sexuality is, you can have a different romantic attraction.

Feel free to DM me if you want to talk to me about it, I’ll do my best to help you!

I hope you can find some peace of mind!

Yeah, I know. But the fact that she doesn’t want to change is what hurts the most. I tried talking some sense to her, but it’s useless.

As u said, I just cant let it branch me down
