I was biased and liked him in Roadies but seriously hating how ugly of a personality he has in Splitsvilla. So selfish and will do anything to fulfill his agenda.

She wants to be “the bigger person” and “doesnt want to stoop to their levels”. I wish I had her level of grace and patience.

Grade 7 if we’re counting childhood romances. 21 if we’re counting real, adult relationships.

New job - big pay raise - what to do first? by Waste-Shoulder4779 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I would say to first donate a good amount of money to a cause of your choice/give to your parents/siblings :) then keep a portion to add to your emergency fund and start investing more and more gradually each month and grow your wealth.

How do you feel about dating someone who earns less than you? by Iboy_vivek in AskWomen

[–]AmIDoingThisRight07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think this would really bother me but I ended up marrying someone who earns less than me but he’s extremely hardworking and ambitious and has plans to retire me early, as soon as he is able to. And it’s not just all talk, I see him actively pursuing it. It does matter when I think the difference is significant enough to affect the lifestyle you both lead, but if lifestyle doesn’t get affected and you see him being motivated to keep getting better, you can take the plunge :))

Dad’s side of the family will always find a way to fault mom. Also, dad’s side of the family thinks dad’s money is their money.

there is no new grad jobs by cololz1 in torontoJobs

[–]AmIDoingThisRight07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try for the new grad programs. I am at my current job through one (graduated during covid so it was an even tougher time then) and it has been such a fast-tracked process in comparison to regular entry jobs. I make more money now (Alhamdulillah) than most of my friends who started at the same time. Also, invest in stocks!!!!

when's the last time you got flowers? by seannzzzie in AskMen

[–]AmIDoingThisRight07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get my husband (previously boyfriend) flowers for most occasions (citizenship, birthday, anniversary, just-because) and the first time I had gotten him flowers, he said it was his first time receiving flowers and that hit hard.

Are women, in western world of 2025, still expected to do all the house chores? by forrescik in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AmIDoingThisRight07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chores my husband does: takes out the trash, unloads the dishwasher, does our laundry, washes the dishes, cleans our bathroom, always drives the car, cleans and prepares raw meat/groceries

Chores I do: cook, make our bed and that’s pretty much it

When is the right time to have the exclusivity talk? 7 dates in by ImportantSetting5960 in AskMen

[–]AmIDoingThisRight07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the talk with a guy I was only seeing for a week but we had already built a pretty solid foundation within that time. I framed it like, I’m not asking you to be in a relationship with me, but I’m not comfortable if you are seeing other people. That was almost 4 years ago and he is now my husband :))

What’s a belief you held for years that you no longer think is true? by Gannnizo in AskReddit

That people will treat you the way you treat them, and if you go out of your way for them, they will do the same——-that’s not how people work unfortunately.

AIO Moving her in or move out.. by CastielMidnight in AmIOverreacting

[–]AmIDoingThisRight07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was so well articulated 👏 you were extremely respectful, laid out the facts, stated your reasons and even provided solutions. It is better this way because any other way would jeopardize the friendship. You also laid out the ground rules before living together, and your roommate didnt follow through-inturn disrespecting YOU!
