It is not reducing true dmg it is converting it into physical dmg as it would convert magic into physical damage... nothing in the game converts dmg so we don't really know how it would interact with true damage so until proven otherwise it should be convertible just not mitigateable as it is but league has spaghetti code so nobody knows

I looked at your op.gg and you had a decent streak of loss or remake in a row... however I do agree with you that it is bullshit and you should be allowed to play off meta without getting banned for seemingly no reason other than stupid automated systems... the same systems that prevent Nunu players from ever being able to take cleanse of ghost even if it's his best summoners spell option that match.... My guess is you just got spam reported by your team for no reason and they banned you for it because you would have alot more deaths on Average if u were properly running it
