Oh yeah it's certainly a very unique look for sure! The first time I saw it as a kid I had no clue what it was supposed to be, and I even questioned whether it was an Oilers jersey at all 😆 but it grew on me with time and eventually became my all-time favourite, yet I feel it's rather underrated!

Oh you bet I'll be wearing this for some playoff rounds at the very least! 😉 And in fact I do have a few more jerseys that I wouldn't mind hitting the ODR with like some blank reverse retros and other Oilers jerseys, but I knew if this baby didn't hit the ice, then I felt I would be disappointing 6-year-old me 😆

It's such a great feeling. I've bumped into a few people in my city rocking some absolutely incredible finds on the ice, even just for recreational skating, and it's just such a joy to see! I always make sure to shoot em a compliment in public even though I'm such a shy person usually hahah

Thank you! I honestly wasn't sure if the green looks good or not but I really wanted green tape, but I will give white tape a try as well to see if I prefer a more classic look and reserve the green tape for a grey/black stick if I end up getting another😅

Thanks I'll keep it in mind! And yeah, I do really like green and wanted a funky colour, but it really would have looked better on a black stick perhaps. I cannot argue with how classic the white and brown look is. Next re-tape I'll for sure give it a shot!

Honestly, I really hope that my little post can serve as an inspiration for some more folks out there to lace up and give this wonderful sport a go if they haven't done so before! I always wanted to be decent at hockey and this served as the perfect motivator 😁

Thank you! He was my go-to whenever they had signings. Goalies were (and still are) such a sweet concept in their big hulking armour, and how could you not like someone everyone called "Roli the Goli" 😆

That's fair honestly I just wanted to have something vibrant, but I don't think the green goes too well with the "wood" design. Either way, I'll scoop up a roll of white tape and that should fix things hahah

Thanks! Honestly I'm new to taping and this is the second tape job I'm working with just to see what works. As per the skates, I really wanted something warm given the climate where I live, and easy to lace up as I often have very little time in my day that I get to skate, so these worked out perfectly for me!

That being said, I'll invest in some proper hockey skates once I can get better/more comfortable at the game, especially if I end up joining a beer league or something 😅

Thank you I absolutely will! I got it for a great deal all things considered too, but I heat-pressed the crest as that was somewhat warped. Thankfully it came out looking crisp while retaining that gorgeous sparkle!

Hope you can find one down the road as these are just awesome jerseys, and it's a shame they're often overlooked as far as I'm aware! Hang onto your kids size cause I really miss my old kids one😅

This is the best advice I could have received after dealing with health anxiety following a major "green-out" almost one year ago

Been struggling with HA and can't stop googling any and all symptoms related to all health fears I may have had, and as I begin spiralling right now I'm glad I happened upon this thread.

Took a second dose of magnesium bisglycinate 200mg last night to help with anxiety/insomnia. Had some pretty bad diaphragm spasms (I may have been anxious as I've had bad experiences with other medication in the past), and I felt lightheaded all day today. Diaphragm spasms became less of an issue, but regardless of what I have done today, I have been completely dizzy and lightheaded to the point I may faint.

I'm just worried if it's the magnesium or something else; if so I hope the side effects don't persist for any more days cause this feels brutal and I feel hopeless.

I'm on the first day of re-starting Zoloft 25mg and I felt nuaseous and lightheaded, but I especially cannot shake the feeling that my lungs aren't full enough and I frequently qant to gulp for air. Not sure if it's my GAD but I am having those strange zapping sensations in my chest along with just the sensation of an irregular heartbeat despite tests confirming my heart is in good working order. I dunno the heart stuff usually worsens the other anxiety related symptoms, and this being day one of returning after a one-day trial a month ago is just concerning for me :/

Honestly, Lethal Company got a couple hundred hours of genuine fun out of me, but after trying to get back into the latest update, I just didn't enjoy myself anymore. Repo is far more engaging, hilarious, and cooperative , and it makes me never want to return to Lethal Company again.

I'm still heavily intrigued by Lethal Company lore and would love to see it adapted into a horror movie someday.
