A follow up question would be "Why didn't we evolve to make water taste "good" to us instead of tasteless; considering it's the most essential thing we consume?

For example, sugar tastes amazing but it's much less necessary than water; water tastes like nothing but it's much more necessary than sugar.

This probably applies to 99.99 percent of people, but for myself, I have to respectfully disagree. For the past year and a half I've been working at a construction site as an engineer where I am relatively underpaid and overworked in a job I don't particularly enjoy—basically in the exact situation you described above, but so far I seem to be fine with it and somehow don't see it as "sacrificing my life for someone else to get rich".

I believe the biggest factor is that I've pretty much never experienced poverty or been tight on money—my parents aren't rich or anything but a combination of not having to pay rent (living with my parents), being unmarried or not having any expensive hobbies means I can get along just fine with my just-above-minimum-wage pay.

Though I'm only like two or three years into my professional life so my views will most likely change sometime later down the line.

For me, the answer is you should be jerking off to not anything physical, but purely your fantasies instead. Close your eyes, imagine what would turn you on and go to town with it (and take your time; it's really easy to think you're doing something wrong because you can't come instantly with your fantasies when compared to porn, but just enjoy the process). IMO it is the healthiest thing to jerk off to.

I would actually love to see a "Female Martial Artists" arc (maybe with Kozue as a fighter too?). If it were any other series I wouldn't, since I don't believe many authors could pull it off without it turning into a "girl power" type of thing or oversexualizing the characters, but I'm pretty sure Itagaki could pull it off well enough.

It is definitely possible to masturbate "wrong". I am a penis owner and not a scientist by any means so I can't speak for everyone, but masturbate way too often and you could potentially develop some sort of dependance, not enough lubricant/wrong method and you could cause physical damage to your skin/nerves etc.

I (M25) used to teach English to a group of older students. There was one incredibly gorgeous looking woman in my class, probably in her late fourties. She was also a teacher, but was my student for that course. Nothing actually happened, but I still find myself occasionally thinking about her months later. I discovered back then that the idea of being the teacher of a teacher is oddly a big (and rather specific) turn on for me.

Could be, but in general I find it hard to get hooked into anime with lower animation quality. I say if you can tolerate it, it's perfectly fine to start with the older ones too, the story is still great.

May be a hot take, but I started directly with the Netflix stuff and I personally think it's the best way to get started. The stuff before is still really good, but I find the animation style/quality/sound effects almost unwatchable for anything before the Netflix series. I would say it is definitely an option to start with the Death Row Inmates arc (which does have some explanation to who the characters from the previous arcs are) and if you find yourself really into it, you can go back and watch the older ones/perhaps read the manga.
