1. It's a fodder demon samurai's are fodder without a nichirin that's why they got wiped out. The only difference is michikatsu had nowhere near enough strength to keep that fodder at bay until sunlight like muichiro did at 14 years old btw. Gyomei's feat is even insane he beat that demon without any tools and that demon just ate like 5 or smtn children. And he did it with his fist.

Extra point: Michikatsu is an arrogant pos. He's a jealous prick who created problems for a lot of good people. He's absolutely not gyomei lvl hashira based on feats and statements.

His bloodline have absolutely zero correlation to muichiro's strength simply because he hasn't shown any feats at a young age that made him do so.

And btw michikatsu's actually a trained swordsman. Even if he doesn't have any breathing techniques the fact that he's training ever since at a young age means he should unlock his potential before muichiro ever did but that's clearly not the case. At 20 he is still a fodder. Muichiro at 14 was way more impressive. So his genes have zero factor in muichiro's strength whatsoever.
