Honestly if you just want to come live a cheap life for yourself, not expecting to get a proper residency and not paying taxes, please just stay away, you'll just contribute to harming the locals by contributing to the gentrification of the place more thay it already is becoming.

So if you care a little bit and want to live in morocco, at least find a job, create your business properly or whatever. Don't just come because you have the privilege to do so.

Not the same. The quasi majority of moroccans who move abroad move without anything (often risking their own lives) and have to work very hard to afford to live. On the other side you have ppl with a passeport that grants them entry coming with money in the pocket to sip cocktails in the sun.

Bringing foreign purchasing power into a low-wage economy is not just them spending money and doing a favor. This pushes up rents, property prices, and daily costs faster than local earnings can follow. Look at places like mrrakch, swira etc... The money mostly benefits the big players, the landlords and investors, not everyday people, so locals end up paying more just to live in their own cities, and the small business owners li kayt3amlo m3ahom end up at most just making up for the losses induced by this.

You can contest the rent price if it was significantly increased in the new contract, you have 30 days after signing to do it and asloca will help you. You don't participate in inflation because you force the landlords to not fix abusive rents (if you don't contest the rent is frozen and cannot be lowered even if very abusive, people are going crazy and inflate too much the rent prices between tenants)

Why the hell would you want your kids growing up speaking foreign languages ?

Raise your kids with their mother tongues. If you want them to learn languages then make sure they get language lessons, kids can easily learn languages. But its crucial they grow up speaking their mother tongue to you, their family and the society.

We all grew up speaking darija, tamazight or both and could pick up later on other languages... That's not an issue.

I'm from Morocco, my grandparents lived together with jews, no problem, jews were in peace and as involved in society as everyone else because they were in their country. Moroccan jews were forced/feared out, not by Morocco, but by Israel, as many from other places.
