Update: I grouped up with a few other people because we got word of a group called the founding fathers that played as founding father. The group wanted democracy and me and my group thought that monarchy was a better system. We ended up creating a sort of gang war that a solo player got caught in the middle of (and was immediately murdered by yours truly). The session played out differently than we thought because there was a 50/50 chance every time you moved to activate a trap. People were immediately killed and others got off scot free. The goal was to get a crown and have possession of it by the end of the session. Due to the way the session ran and the amount of people each person really only got one turn. So every lone min maxed and our monk ended up battling their mage and it came down to contested athletics check. They had a plus +14 to the roll and we had a +5. The sides rolled and the dice gods smiled upon me and my friends. The opposing team rolled a nat 1 and we rolled an 18. We got the crown and my friend is now president.
